Hello everyone! I purchased my 7.3 Tremor about three weeks ago and it's a huge step up from my previous F-150 Lariat. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I knew I was not going to get the same gas mileage as my 3.5TT however, 11.2 for city driving really is not that bad. I do feel there are a few items that might need addressed by Ford but I am not sure if it's my OCD kicking in or just some of the F-250 traits. Let me know what you guys think.

Items to be addressed:

1.) Moisture in left front headlight
2.) Moisture in tailgate light
3.) Door(s) rattling

With item #3, I am not sure how to best explain. Pennsylvania is not known for its smooth roads however when going over uneven pavement or bumps, it sounds like the doors are rubbing against the weather-stripping. I never heard this or maybe never noticed it in my F-150 but, it's starting to become noticeable. Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Yeah most people headlights let in moisture and my tailgate light does too. Supposedly the headlights are vented so they clear out quickly.

I don't have any of the issues you speak of, but definitely contact your dealer. These items should be fixed.

I’m sure the dealership can adjust your doors there shouldn’t be any moisture inside of your lights I would take it back probably didn’t get sealed correctly overtime I’m sure they’ll get foggy

This is a very common issue on tacomas. It producess a kinda squeeky/rubbing noise right next to the driver's head.
If this is indeed what it is you can try just spraying or rubbing a tiny bit of wd-40 on the weather-stripping. If it goes away then you know thats what it is. For my trucks that had this in the past I just had to apply wd-40 every 2 years or so...

I'd have that headlight replaced under warranty. Only going to get worse, and those factory LED housings are just a tad more expensive than a halogen housing 10 or 20 years ago.

Sounds like your seals and weather stripping are causing the squeek/rub sound, if I'm understanding it right. Google "gummi phledge". It's a rubber conditioner for seals and weather stripping, and I have heard of folks using it to quiet issues like you're having.

The front doors on my 17' f350 Platty rattled. Once they adjusted the Front Strikers, the sounds were gone. I also started lubing the trucks hinges and door latches with WD40's heavy silicone pray. Now everything sounds right and tight.

Make sure your seatbelts are put back correctly. This happens all the time, when someone get's out of your truck and the seatbelt does not turn back to it's neutral position (What I call it). This causes the seatbelt to latch to hit the B post for passenger front and C post for rear seats, because of the position when it retracts.. I've been fooled by this several times (on all my super duties) and I know about it lol.
