Anyone know what % the factory tint is on the rear windows?

It looks to be around 20-30%. Really need to put a light meter on it to be sure.
I’m just taking an educated guess as I used to work at a tint shop for about 8 years.

The place your having any tint done can tell you they have a light.
On my back, back side, and moon roof is all blacked out. My fronts are what every the factory put on the back.

I would say it's probably in the 30% range. I think it was posted in a earlier tint thread.

20-30 sounds about right. CA law says has to allow 70% of light thru on front windows....thinking about asking how much $$ to match fronts to back when I go in for ceramic coating. I don't want to go super dark anyway as I like being able to see shit at night but I think it would look a lot better with some level of tint on the fronts.

My appt was supposed to be today but apparently one of the techs got in some kind of accident and tweaked his back.

I believe 18 to 20% is a good match to the factory tint. My prior truck had (I believe 18%, may have been 20) on the front side windows and it matched the rear nearly perfect from the outside.

There was a very noticeable difference on the inside though, both in color and heat.

On the Tremor I had 20% added to the front sides and 55% added over the rear factory tint. There is a very slight if any difference between the front and rear windows from the inside or outside and the rear seems to be much more comfortable as it relates to heat from the sun.

Factory is 20% but when I tinted mine I had the shop do 5% on the rears and 25 on the front they didn't have 20q at the time and was leaving for a trip ... But I am happy with it ... Once I go to another state will make 5 % on all windows

Factory vs tinted in the one side shot my driver window is open so it looks really like but it's because light is coming in from the driver side
