Stainless works exhaust with resonator delete
Blackvue 900x dashcam with battery backup
Pedal commander
Shorty Antenna
OBD Link Bluetooth
Sync 4 Screen Protectors
Tint (20% on the fronts or ceramic all around)
Jimmy Jammers
Fire extinguisher
Forestry Shovel
Husky Liners X-act #53388
Amp Research Bed Step #AMP75313-01A
Amp Research Bed Extender #AMP74814-01A
UPR Satin Catch Can + Breather 5030-251-CSS
Built Rite Seat Release
Built Rite Bedside Rack

Good list!

Things I’ve already purchased for my truck, which is yet to arrive:
- Engine/transmission skid plate
- Carli front diff guard
- Jimmi Jammer
- 7.3 Godzilla badges (not purchased yet, but started the quote process with intent to purchase)

Pretty much immediately after the truck arrives:
- Paint protection film
- 3M ScotchGuard film for the windows

I’ll also make sure to have a dash cam and the UPR catch can in advance. Goal of all of these early mods is to protect the truck before it gets damaged. Badges are early so they can go on before the PPF.

Edit: since posting this I've ordered and received an engine/transmission skid plate. See my post later in the thread for details:

5th wheel or travel trailer and camper shell ?

Heck, maybe even an ATC toy hauler!

How about a second Tremor?
Going to be borrowing buddy's gooseneck* load trail 15k on a regular basis.

Edit* gooseneck

Wife wants to look at a camper or a center console boat next year or I may pick up a nice Bobcat compact loader now that I'll have something powerful enough to haul it with.

Ha! Second Tremor is out of the budget ?

Jimmy jammer looks cool, will add that. I'll only need PPF on the hood since I have the plastichrome or maybe I should get the Ford OEM rock guard? Window tint is a must, forgot to add that!

I plan to install that catch can in the dealer lot, I want no oil buildup in my IM ?

Which dash cam did you go with?
Kubota MX
Cat 305
Polaris RZR
Husqvarna TC
MasterCraft NXT

I like that MX or LX with the loader and 'hoe, definitely on the list. I have a lot of earth moving that needs done on my small lot. Opens up options to move dirt for hire later too ?

RZR is not a bad idea either, the dunes arent too far away.

Tonneau cover (I'm going with a Diamondback HD)
TufSkinz Tailgate, Hood & Glovebox
Banks Pedal Monster
Bosch Windshield Wipers

Not essential but I also want to add a Ranch Hand Grille Guard (purely for aesthetics)

Had a diamondback on my Tundra, resale value was great and the cover was solid but I hated not having full bed access at all times and especially now with gooseneck hitch. It didn't take long to uninstall the cover but it wasn't an easy operation either. I'm looking at the peragon or retrax, not sure if retrax is worth $1k more... If you get a diamondback, order from Leonard's, I was able to get 10% off my order a few years back.

I was thinking about the banks, wonder if banks is better or pedal commander?

You make some good points. On my F150 I currently have a Bakflip MX4. I really like it because I have full bed access with the option to fold it back against the glass. I didn't even know Diamondback's existed until this forum but I'm hooked on them. To be honest, I think I'm an outlier on this forum. I don't tow and rarely haul. Yet, I'm considering a 350 Tremor just because. However, I'm planning for my order to be the "10 year truck" as I'm hoping to be purchasing a horse in the next 2 years along with a trailer for him.

I digress. Thanks for the tip on Leonards. Will look into it.

As for the Banks vs Pedal Commander, not sure. Banks has some pretty persuasive Instagram ads. I would take a look and compare some of their safety features. Also Banks are made in the USA and Pedal Commanders are not--if that matters to you.

I had the Pedal Commander in my 2017 Duramax that I traded in for my Tremor. It worked great. Got it for $150 on fb marketplace. I got a Banks Pedal Monster on fb marketplace for about $175 for my Tremor. They essentially do the same thing. I like both of them equally from a performance standpoint. The advantage that Banks has over the competition is that it will fail-safe to stock if anything goes wrong with it while you are driving. I never had that problem with my Pedal Commander, but still. One thing to be aware of though, the Pedal Monster uses the ODB port, so you will need a splitter if you are getting a bluetooth ODB link and plan on leaving it installed. I got the USB ODB link cable and just unplug the Pedal Monster when I want to update something in forscan.

Snip…

I have the Thinkware U1000 4K 2 channel with a celllink neo battery. If I were purchasing today I’d get the Blackvue DR900X 4K 2 channel plus the LTE module with blackboxmycar.com battery. Don’t go cheap on a dashcam.

The ScotchGuard isn’t window tint, but a theft prevention film someone brought up on the forum! Makes it much more difficult to break through the glass as it essentially laminates it.

I’m considering window tinting as well, but that’s not on my super early mods list since it doesn’t protect the truck really.

As for the dash cam, I haven’t decided yet. That’s why it’s something still to be purchased and not already on its way. :ROFLMAO: Lots of options that seem decent, but none that jump out at me as truly stellar for their price. Leaving me with choice paralysis.

I may get the pedal commander then so I can leave the Bluetooth obd link plugged in all the time. I like to monitor via torque pro on occasion. Thanks for the feedback!

Why the switch out of curiosity? Those two were the only models I've seen recommended pretty much everywhere besides shill review sites.

Ah yeah I remember that video now that you mention it. I'll have to see if I can find a local installer, that video was the first time I've ever seen that product. I wonder if the thickness adds additional resistance to the window's up/down movement creating more strain on the motors...

Thinkware and Blackvue are the only ones I keep seeing across all forums but they both carry a hefty price tag. I'm curious why Himni would switch to Blackvue now after owning thinkware. I was personally leaning towards Blackvue but still undecided.

Added, thanks Red. Still on the fence about the tuffskins... How well do they hold up to buffing/waxing/etc...?
I really like them. They are thick and durable. I suppose waxing around them will be a little extra work but they really make the truck look good. Easy to install in minutes.
