For the past three weeks, I’ve been shopping around for my very own Tremor. I’ve picked up a lot from this forum, despite not being a member up until tonight. I’d like to thank everyone - this forum is great, and filled with lots of good info! I’ve spoken with many dealerships in my area (Hartford County, Connecticut) by phone, email, and a couple in person. I’ve come to find out that I qualify for the X Plan through my employment, and also two incentives— College Student $500, and Ford retail cash $250. I’ve attempted the links for PCO multiple times and have had no luck. Long story short, I’ve been asking for 10% off of MSRP with or without any plan and/or incentive. I’ve been falling anywhere between 6 to 8.4% off of MSRP with the dealerships I’ve spoken with. With the current year coming to an end, I’ve got a good feeling I can get to where I want to be. Has anyone had any recent luck in achieving 10% off of MSRP, or anything better than what I’ve been presented with? If you’d like, share your state along with your answer. I’d really like to see where I stand in this. This is on a custom order. Thank you everyone!

I got right at 10 here in Texas. Fully loaded KR . Its a 7.3 which is what I wanted but in this state the 6.7 is the male enhancement pill of choice so I think that helped me.

Thanks for the response. I, myself will be going with the 6.7 haha. I was just at another Ford dealership this morning. They’re trying to charged me $1,000 under MSRP by far the worst offer I’ve gotten. Looks like my search is far from over!

Welcome! X-plan gets you around 6% which is about as good as it gets. Some people have gotten more and some places are even charging over MSRP. Good on you if you are in college and can drive a truck like this.

I am in CT i recommend Columbia. No other dealer was close for trade in for tremor and process seamless.

I'm getting 7.7% off a $75K MSRP worst case (unless I get a PCO, or rebates increase by the time the truck arrives), and I hit it pretty hard. When I buy a vehicle I blanket essentially all dealers within about 350 miles for their best and final. This time I was surprised at the lack of discount I found.

All that to say, if you have 10% off MSRP in writing from a dealer you trust you should feel like you won the Super Duty buyer lottery, because that's pretty amazing.

Edit to say this is on a special order, not a stock truck already on the lot.

From my own personal experience you can get a much better price by ordering than trying to get one off the lot. All of the units I looked at on the lot the dealers would not budge or actually marked them up. In their defense they are in the business to make money and the Tremor’s don’t sit very long even at full MSRP.

I spoke with the sales manager and all he could offer was 4-5% off of MSRP. So far I’ve got Valenti Ford in Mystic at 8.4% off of MSRP and Monaco Ford in Glastonbury at 8.2% off of MSRP. My best two offers presented.

Hard part now is low inventory for dealers and these trucks are fairly desirable so they know they can hold out longer. It’s always good to search out a good deal but give yourself a range that you would be happy with. If you set one particular number you may never reach it and other deals my pass. Good luck in your search.

Not getting into the percentage math, I paid 3% under invoice and still got my $500 rebate. but that was last year on a 2020 Tremor order out 6.7, to make the deal I got some great trade in money for my Chebby d max 3500.

I doubt it was 10% off but pretty close your what you were offered. I also got some sales tax savings with the trade in.

10% is amazing deal here

Are people typically quoting just the discount off the window sticker that they've negotiated, or is this the full out the door price with taxes, titles, PCO, etc. added in as well?
