No one. Was passing at 85 (speed limit 80) guy sped up..had an incoming car..slammed on brakes to get back behind him and he slammed on brakes..wouldnt let me back across. Suffice it to say I stomped on it and put the shotgun out the window to give him encouragement. Thats when I found truck only does 96. Welcome to WY... smh
Driving recklessly and brandishing a firearm in the same situation yet complaining about your 8,000-pound truck being governed at 96 mph? Yours should be governed at 50 with mandatory anger management classes.
You can only go as fast as the person in front of you.
Excuse me, you were involved in a road rage incident and pointed a shotgun at another vehicle.
Sounds like you were out of control and elevated this incident, what are the chances you got a license plate and notified law enforcement
The rationale is that it is not safe to have such a heavy truck moving that fast. I agree.

Not sure he's going to get the welcome response he expected on here. Cannot believe that there are people on here that will agree with this story as presented. The audacity to use this scenario as a cause for removing a governor is beyond belief to me.
The tires are also a very important part of the speed rating & they are not rated/designed/built to withstand speeds some people want to drive at.

Actually, that only came when my life was in danger. No road rage. The other person in question was doing 15 under the speed limit and was weaving back and forth. And for the record a full accounting was made to the Sheriff. To him it was a game. When I realized that the only way to get out of the situation was to take it to the level that I did, it was because It was that or a head on..or roll the truck in the ditch. Regardless, back to my original inquiry. Is there a way to remove that governor?
What Sheriff, what county and highway, how about the Highway Patrol, of course you did not report it to them or get a license plate number, you were to pissed off pulling a shotgun on the other vehicle.
You are a danger to all involved pulling a shotgun out on somebody while in the mid of a road rage incident like this.

The 5-Star tunes/tuner (website already provided) remove the governor. I’m running the 89 performance tune and have confirmed (on private ranch roads) that the governor is removed

First, I work in critical care and see way too many traumas that don't end well. Speed and likelihood of fatality isn't linear, it's exponential. At vehicle speeds above 70 mph you have a higher chance of dying than surviving irrespective of seatbelts, airbags, whatever. Slow down and live longer. Driving is the most dangerous thing we do on a day to day basis. I live in MT. Speed limits here can be 80 mph depending on the road. You won't ever see me going that fast. My life is worth more than the perceived time savings. Second, we've lost our way as a society. Although the world is more connected now than in any other time in history, we are more individualistic than ever before. We've lost the community mindset. Everyone seems to have a me vs them mentality. Having someone speed up or slow down to prevent you from merging or whatever is something I'm sure we've all experienced. It shouldn't happen. But I agree, a shotgun out the window isn't the right answer. Third, I don't know of a way to remove the governor. So I'm no help in your quest to hit 100. Be safe. Stay healthy
In what part of your scenario was your life in danger that would have resulted in your brandishing a firearm outside of your vehicle's window whilst driving 90+mph?

What speed rating are your tires & what happens when one fails at 110mph????

Feel free to crash and burn on your private ranch road, but once you hit a public road or highway and act like a fool endangering everyone else on the road it becomes a public matter
