I am finalizing ordering this week. How does the highway driving of the tremor compare to FX4. I am on the fence with ordering Tremor or FX4. Either way it will be F350. Also pics with 12.5 tires on factory Tremor wheels would be great.

I had both and didn’t notice a big different I think the tremor is a little smother because of the 18 inch by 35 tires little more cushion but you get more in the tremor the FX4 is just a skid plate package but the tremor tires do need to break in a little

I can't speak to the F350, but it's a night and day difference between my 2019 F250 Platinum FX4 with the snow plow package vs my 2021 F250 Lariat Tremor. I hated the ride of the FX4 so much that I traded it in after 1700 miles. I felt every bump in the road and the bump steer was ridiculous. My wife drives a 2017 Expedition Limited with the 20" wheels and this Tremor feels much smoother.

The biggest difference I saw was a softer ride with the Tremor. The Tremor also isn't as planted in corners which I assume comes from the lift and suspension.

They would not mount 35 x 12.50 on my stock rims I did not care for the el cheapo center caps from the factory wheels so was a good reason to upgrade my wheels and tires. I love the ride, had an FX4 but was older so not a comparison

I came from an '18 FX4 250 on factory 20s and my '21 Tremor 350 is much more forgiving on potholes, manhole covers, and sharp edges. Highway ride seems similar, but our roads are pretty good here.

You won’t find 12.5 tires in the 8 oem rim. Because of litigation most tire shops won’t install a 12.5 tire on anything less than an 8.5 wide rim.

what wheels did you go with? We live in the sticks so I like them to be a bit wider than factory, but not throwing gravel up the side.

Fuel Beast 18 x 9 +1 offset with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35 x 12. 50. I did not want to put a lift on this truck. Tires are load range F and wheels have a bit more weight capacity than the stock wheels. There are others on this site, There is a wheel and tire thread with tons of suggestions and options, even a few who dared to go 37 on stock trucks and made it work!
