Not sure how to even tell when that’s (regen) happening. I can out from work started the truck and it asked if I wanted to keep it in me current mode (eco). I clicked ok for yes and then it popped up.

When you get out of your truck and it smells like you burned up your clutch or your brakes.....also when driving your MPG drops 5 MPG until it finishes......but thats all I got....

regen wouldn't start that quickly as the engine has to be up to temp to start the regen .... 190 plus degrees

I had mine do it once when I got a service advancetrac message. I pulled over and restarted the truck and it went away, never seen it again.

I had this happen once, in the morning when I was leaving for work. Shut it off, started it back up, and it worked OK.

He explains that you don’t know when the Regen modes kick on and how far into the Regen process is over. Really interesting video. I saw it a while back snd was going to bring this up. Has anyone ever had this done. I don’t know if I can post a Utube video. If I can’t can someone post I saw this video on Utube.

Its not away. In the video he said you CAN ask Ford to set it up for you. Can someone post that UTube video to show it. I can't seem to do it.

I’ve smelled that a couple of times. But the truck had been sitting since 6:45a until 5:15p. Started it and got the message.

It's an easy add with FORScan for 2020, someone will have to report on 2021 if it's the same. The following can be found in the FORScan thread.

Some trucks will report a camera error after making this modification.
To avoid that, make your update according to the following:
If 0, change to 8
If 1, change to 9
If 2, change to A
If 3, change to B
If 4, change to C
If 5, change to D
If 6, change to E
If 7, change to F

Anyone else have this happen?

Did you ever find a fix or come to a conclusion on this? My '22 does this intermittently and I don't know why. Sometimes the modes work when I get in the truck, other times I get the same error as you. I've made some basic Forscan changes and I have a Banks pedal monster installed. That's about it for electrical changes.
