Drive modes

can someone else check this out to verify. When driving and I push the drive mode and select sand it changes the shift points in the transmission but doest switch to 4 wheel high. I have to use the knob. Im used to the raptor that would put it in 4 high just selecting sand on the drive mode. Ive talked to the dealership and cant get an answer all I get is no answer

Mine works the same way. I drive in deep sand on the beach all the time and it works great.

On the original raptor they ran most of the Baja 500 in 2wd. They only used 4wd in a deep loose sand hill climb where they locked the rear axle. I think Steve O was driving.
