I have no affiliation other than being a customer. The unit retails for $599, but is presently 20% off, bringing the price down to $479.20. I ordered it at 08:30 and received a Tracking Number by 12:30.

These things are cool but I do have a cheap armrest cooling thing in the back for the kids, tempted to upgrade to this one but dont want to lose my center console space. Also, use code PATHFINDER for an additional discount.

Awesome .. thanks !!

Seems like it could do double duty as a safe if you like cool guns.
I roll with a Dometic CFX3 75DZ in the back seat which can keep about 25 guns cool.

I'm curious, I went through their installation manual and did not see anything on a drain for condensation. Granted, it shouldn't really have much, but what if... right onto the floor?
You can't cool without producing significant amounts of condensation. But they may be using an evaporative method like a household refrigerator. You have a hot side of the system as well and the condensation can be collected in an evaporator tray on the hot side of the system and flashed off into the air. Just guessing.

It's my understanding that it operates just as a normal household refrigerator, and that there's no condensation to speak of.

If not for yourself, do it for your guests, just to be a good host.

‘Can I offer you folks water, sparkling or still? Perhaps a shrimp cocktail?’
This is honestly the best argument for this thing. ?

I suppose also over the lifetime of the vehicle it could pay for itself if always stocked with bulk items from Costco in lieu of single items from the gas station. ?

Stop the presses! I was wrong! Hope that's not too great a shock to you. There is what looks like a drain in the bottom but it's obviously not for every day use, especially if there's never any condensation. I don't recall reading about it either but that's not necessarily the gospel truth. I can't elaborate as the cooler and manual are now at my Ford dealer for an oil change. What, you didn't know the Dometic needed its oil changed?

Anyone have better pictures of how it fits in the console?
There is a couple videos of the install on YouTube. I have installed this several months ago. What did you need to see? If I don’t have to remove it I’ll take a photo for you. BTW. The install is almost completely reversible. They provide a circular snap in cover to fill the hole you drilled in the front of the console. I suppose if you want to move it to another truck or just not include it if you decide to trade/sell.
