On the ford site and the order guide, LED taillights and fogs aren't mentioned. Can I get verification from someone that owns a 2020/2021 Lariat with the black package that the taillights and fog lights are also LED?

blacked out package comes with all lights as led mine does at least 2020

Thanks! Was bouncing back and forth on a Lariat sport or a Platinum, this was one of the only "differences" I couldn't figure out. This forum is awesome :D

no problem and welcome to the club

Both nice trucks, I priced out both and went with the Sport ( its a 2020) not much difference when you load em up, Platty had some fancy placards, and massaging seats and a chrome tip on the pipe. My Ultimate Lariat Sport has most everything else and its blacked out to match the black wheels.

Got to say I was close to getting the Plat, tempting to go top shelf.

My '21 Tremor (Ultimate Lariat with Black Appearance) has LEDs front and rear.

Yes, exactly this. I really have my mind set on Lithium Grey, which for some reason you can't order with the Dark Marsala interior on the Platinum, so it pushes me more toward the Lariat. Only real differences like you said, totally loaded out are the seats, fancy tailgate, and power running boards. I think I like the standard Tremor running boards better anyway. The KR is my favorite interior, but I can only get Lithium with Chrome bumpers, which is not really my style. So for now, Lariat Sport it is!!

If you have the ultimate package with the Lariat trim you can have the power running boards as well, it costs an additional $995. I ended up going that route to make it easier on the wife and grand kid. Don't forget to add the rain sensing wipers if you want the heated steering wheel.

I opted out from the power running boards. ( I removed them from my order) We have tons of road salt in the winter and my salesman suggested not getting them. They seem to be problematic here in the land of road salt and corrosion. He told me it was common to see trucks in the service department with issues.
Color choice was also an option for the Lariat. Seems you can't get all combos with all packages.

Due to the Black appearance package coming with Blacked out headlight housing yes it comes with the entire LED setup and no other option My 21 has this package.

I have been building super duty trucks in the ford website for probably 9 months now... and most of them were Tremors... But based on my use case (about 14000 miles of highway driving a year, and 3000 miles of bumper pull trailer towing, with near-term goals of a 5th wheel), I think I may opt for a 8-ft bed 7.3 4x4 truck so I can get the larger gas tank and lower 3.73 gears. Still not cast in stone, but the idea of a gas truck humming along for 80% of it's life with those steep 4.30's at highway speeds gives me pause. We'll see, I still have a couple of months to decide before my current PCO runs out

And thank you for the comments about the running boards. Most of my trips will take me to Michigan, and we all know they LOVE salt up there.

Me exactly.

the blacked out was worth more to them so seats and a window that will leak on my head .... so yea .... and can always add th seats to my truck from a wrecked truck or just buy them

I agree 100%. I paid damn near the price of a platinum with everything included on my lariat. I can live without massaging seats, being how I don’t know what I’m missing. I spent well over the price of the black appearance package blacking out my 17’ by time I did the badges, bumpers, rims and headlights. I’m happy with my decision.
