2021 F-250 Tremor 6.7
Hey everyone! Just replaced my 2017 Power Wagon with this Tremor. I'm excited to start some mods. Here's my list so far: (suggestions/advice appreciated)

1. Hardwired dashcam (completed by sending wire down driver's side pillar and connecting to OBDII port for power.)
2. American Work toolbox/tonneau cover combo Diamondback HD cover
3. OEM winch
4. Connecting something to upfitter switches (any train horns that don't require onboard air?)

Congratulations and I’m extremely jealous you can fit it in your garage! Enjoy your truck

I'm deep into the dashcam world especially after some lying asshole made an illegal lane change on me. I'm close to ordering a Thinkware U1000 with the rear vue and 'radar' module. The latter is actually for the parking mode. Anyway, be aware that whatever brand you get powering it off the OBD can be fraught as some are unique to the vehicle. Usually preferable to tap into an always hot fuse.

That's good advice, the OBD adapter I have seems to be working so far. It has the option to be "always hot" for park mode or to turn off a few minutes after the truck is turned off. It's also supposed to monitor the truck battery in case it gets too low. We will see I guess.

The winch finally came in :) Installed it myself and opted for the extra trim work as seen in previous threads. Now still waiting on the toolbox/cover combo. Made to order apparently so it's taking forever!

Nice! How long did it take you to install? it

About 3-4 hours one day. And then another hour the next day when I decided to alter the center trim piece to make it fit. Not too bad. The new instructions now included online recommend changing out the two bolts directly under the winch spool with round cap m6 bolts going the other direction to prevent any rubbing on the rope. They don't included the new bolts though:rolleyes:

Little of both... The long wait made me look into other options. Then I found the Diamondback HD and liked it even more once I found out about the tool box and tool bar options. And the fact that if needed I can stack two ATVs on top of it. And it's more waterproof and in my opinion looks better too.

👍 - Get a little envious every time someone posts about the Diamondback. If it weren’t for pulling a fifth wheel camper it really looks like the best way to go. I was afraid it’d be too much hassle to take off/store/reinstall while on a camping trip. Pros/Cons to all of them I guess.

Hoping to install my RetraxPro XR before the weekend is over, but dang it I like the looks of the Diamondback!!
