Im looking to order the SE as well with the pre installed handles. Which finish did you go with? From the website, it appears smooth is a bed liner material and rugged is painted black. 3rd option is silver which I do not like but would probably not fade.

Not OP but that finish is “Rugged Black.” Its identical to the aluminum ones except they’re sprayed in house.

Had an original finish for 5 years. Yes, it faded a bit but a regular power washing helps. The new one has a couple of nice upgrades. One is/are the small side boxes that are great for tossing miscellaneous crap into. Oddly my original struts went south after only a month or two but the replacements lasted fine.

It's a real pity I couldn't stretch the 5.5 footer to use on Mjölnir. Put it on Craigslist but have only gotten responses from scammers. I don't get it - it would fit any 5.5' bed from '14 onwards.

I got the rugged black. Finish seems very durable, have zero concern about the quality of the cover. Highly recommend

Couple of concerns with my cover after owning for 3 days. Gaskets are separating from cover and the lock is coming apart as well.

Finally installed my Side Boxes. A bit of a design problem: if you install one ahead of the fixed panel on the driver's side that panel will not close because that bar that prevents the panel from flying open hits the front edge of the side box unless you mount the box further forward. I don't want to do that so I'm going to modify the safety bar by sawing a notch in it.

And for this kind of money wouldn't you think they could supply the proper length bolts? Those things are dangerous! Gotta buy 4 cap nuts now. Grrrrrr....
