What do you guys think of this new bit of gear from decked? Some cool ideas and improvements over a standard metal box. I've got a DB cover with a storage bin so I have no need for one but I might get one for the highboy I'm restoring. Anyone have this?

Looks quality but I'll stick with my Diamondback with its integral tool box. For somebody who needs their bed open it looks bomber.

The guy using the crow bar really isn't selling me on it.

Decked makes a good product! Iam very happy..??

Hows the HighBoy resto going? New pics????
Hey there fellow highboy enthusiast. It's gong well. T-case rebuilt. Trans rebuild. cab totally stripped. chassis stripped short of the axles. engine block back from hot tanking and honing. bores are already maxed at 60 over. #7 intake pushrod was bent so sent cam shavings all over the motor. cylinder walls are a little scored so it might burn some oil. but i'm using that block anyway rather than spending money for a new one. I don't have a heated garage so it's tough to get a lot done. Hopefully this spring i can rebuild the motor, rebuild the axles and coat the chassis. then get the drivetrain re-installed. so some progress but a long way to go. It's been a blast though. trying to use as many of the original parts as possible. I'm having issues with the bed situation. I have a bed but its from a 2wd truck with wider mounting holes. It's hard to find a bed specific to the highboys with the narrower frame.

That looks pretty awesome. Everything screams quality like the rest of Decked's lineup except for the lock. I still see a 10 cent wafer lock on it. But to be fair, that kind of lock is all I see on every single toolbox out there.

I'm intrigued. The ladder option made me smirk a little - even though I would need one to reach anything. $700 seems like a lot. But I've never seen their stuff in person. A buddy is coming over sometime soon to install his decked bed system. If the quality is there, I may give it a go.

$700 might be much but compared to other USA made boxes it’s a deal. The highway products boxes I’ve looked at are north of 1200

Oh. I didn’t even notice the lock. Yeah that would be an important feature to consider. I wonder if it’s easily swapped
