Does anyone have a 2022 Tremor with the “Dark Masala” leather color interior? I think it’s only available on the Platinums. I’m dying to see what it looks like aside from the color modified/corrected images on the Ford website. I’m considering it but can’t find a 2022 vehicle that has it within 500 miles to look at. I’m hoping a forum member might have one or see one and be able to take some video of it, in the sunlight, for me!

Any help would be appreciated! I’m not going to pick it for a $88k build without something more to go on that 3 crappy photos on Ford’s builder app.

Thanks so much!

There is a short interior view starting at 2:22 but its a ‘18 Dually
I truly like that color interior. The ONLY thing I don't like is the silver/blue inserts.

Ur welcome - had the same dilemma but happy to stay the course on selecting it over the grey

When I was looking at buying a new truck it came down to the Tremor or the Power Wagon for me. What i knew for sure was i didn't want a black interior. The Power Wagon was black no other color was offered so it was a no go. Then I looked at the different colors you could get in the F250 line with the Tremor. I just didn't care for the KR brown on the Dark Masala so I ended up with the Baja Tan and could not be happier.

I really like the marsala interior on my Tremor. I hate black interiors because of the heat issues here in the southwest and trying to keep them clean. It is not nearly as red or burgundy as the Ford build pictures depict.

What year model is that? See, that’s WAY more pop than I’m looking for. Actually I WANT a KR for the interior (it’s my favorite) but they’re not available in carbonized grey; so I’m contemplating a Platinum. For me, that’s too red and too much contrast. But I think that’s an older version of Masala - Masala has changed and the 2022 has a “dark Masala” in it.

I have antimatter blue and DM interior. AM blue is really almost black and really only shows the metal flake in the sun.
If you want pop and not black it really works well.

I REALLY appreciate your post. I LOVE how that leather looks right up until I see that shot of the rear of the driver seat! THAT looks SO red! Same thing I replied to someone else before I saw that ONE angle in your photos. Until then, the seats looked a lovely muted reddish-brown color. But that view looks flat out bright red. Ugh I’m still torn.

Thank you SO much for the post and the photos. It does give me more to go on even if I’m leaning towards the black seats now. Thanks again!

The Ford website makes the dark Marsala look like a dark wine reddish brown. But @Steele67 makes the interior more red than anything. Now I do not know what to order. I plan on ordering Atlas Blue with, well I do not know now.

THATS MY DILEMMA EXACTLY! In some light the dark masala looks beautiful but then you’ll get to ONE photo of it that’ll stop you DEAD IN YOUR TRACKS, with a, “Ewwww! That color is horrible!” Lol!

I starting to think I’m going to play it safe with black. Several dealers and owners have pointed out to me that these new trucks are NOT like the black inters of yesteryear. Now we have remote start, ventilated seats and ceramic tint that rejects 98% of solar heat. That means a cool truck VERY quickly and the ceramic tint means zero solar damage to the dash or interior. I wish I could get a saddle leather or dark cocoa leather interior but that’s not doing me ANY good. If I can’t see a 2022 with dark masala, myself, that doesn’t have ANY of those ‘whoa!’ moments, I’m ordering boring old black leather.

Hey Ford! ALL this could be avoided if your dumba$$ would just offer carbonized grey on King Ranch models OR offered some traditional, NATURAL leather color option for every model line! Please stop being so Willy-Nilly with your offerings when we build and order a custom truck!

I had this exact dilemma. 22 Plat F-350 Carbonized Grey: I first almost went with Marsala as I was tired of black but ended up with black because I just wasn’t sure about the tint of Marsala and I almost switched my special order but it was too late , Received my build amd

Go with the Marsala. I almost changed mine to Marsala but it was too late . Was afraid of the Marsala tint because I couldn’t see it but now that I have my 22 Platinum Tremor Carbonized Grey with black interior I wish I had gone with the Marsala instead. Zero pop and bland with all black interior of your looking for contrast do it and don’t look back. If I did it again I would do Marsala. But hey We can always pay another grand or two to redo the leather color with Katakinz aftermarket!

Thanks for “pop” perspective @Thunder I’m going with Marsala and atlas blue. with how dark I tint my vehicles it should darken the color anyways. My local dealer was also stating that the blue and Marsala dont go together. I pointed at my truck and explained when I am done with it you will not be able to see both at the same time.
He did also point out, on a F150, that he doesn’t like the Marsala riding on the black plastic. If it was more like the KR where the plastic was not such a stark contrast he would like it more.
