Well I tried to remove my overhead console and as the title says it cracked ? I’m posting this so anybody who tries it is cautious, but also because Ford only sells the entire thing with switches and all for around $800!!!

Does anybody have one they don’t need for whatever reason?

Damn! For $800 I’d be buying some gorilla glue and never look up again. That sucks dude. I would hold off and search for one at a junk yard.

ouch, why did you remove it?

I just put some gorilla glue on it, hopefully it works.

Wanted to see the available wires for eventually adding a dash cam, big fail on my part.

I believe somebody posted about a power take off, off the back of the rear view mirror. There's apparently an adapter that you can plug in there that will give you power for a dash cam. I just don't have one so I'm not that familiar with it but I remember reading about it.

That's the one!

I have it on my Edge but I have an XLT with no power on the rear view mirror. Sort of hoping the wiring harness is still up there.
