I don’t live anywhere super cold( only gets down to about 50 in the winter). But the last few times I’ve gotten in my truck in the early morning I have condensation all over the inside of my windshield. I’ve never had this on any truck ever. This is my first time in the colder months with it this truck. But my old 2003 Silverado never did this. What’s wrong with this? That foggy-ness you see in the pics is on the inside.

Agree, it shouldn’t happen unless you have moisture elsewhere in the cab. Could also be the windshield itself that isn’t fully sealed. This type of problem isn’t always quick and easy to diagnose.

Usually takes a good bit of moisture to get condensation inside a vehicle too. Take a damp-rid hanger and put it in the truck and park it in the sun and you'll get an idea of how bad the possible leak might be. My old bronco leaks around the back glass and the door trims when it rains heavily. I have been leaving one in it while I suss out how to fix it. It fills pretty quickly after rain.

What’s a damp-rid hanger?

My guess is you have moisture inside your truck. Check the floor and see if you feel or see and wet areas.
I’ll check. But floors shouldn’t be damp cause there’s rubber mats alround.

Check those back cab vents. Could be leaking. If you are saying you have vinyl floors, you would need to really investigate to see if you have a leak

My foggy windows is what lead me to investigate wet carpet and leaking driver rear vent not clipped in all the way….everyone should check there rear vents

I've had some light fogging on the inside of the windshield from time to time. The sun shade I use seems to make it more likely to happen. Not too concerned. Never have found the carpets to be wet, even after days of heavy rain.
No moisture between the Husky mats and carpet and the fogging doesn't seem to require wet weather. Living near the coast humidity levels tend to be higher than some places, especially in the evening, not sure if that plays a part in it.

Where’s that located at?

My '22 with 18K miles, the vents are leaking as well.. Took to dealer for warranty. Waiting on parts and time to get job completed. Pretty bad design that it happens so much. They literally have to tear my entire interior out to fix. They are trying to tell me they need to remove the bed, but I am telling them no. $30 dollar part that ruins the new interior of the cab. Can't believe it's not a recall. $90K vehicle yet isn't water tight.. In the mean time I have some damprid containers in my truck to soak up the moisture.. Causing rust on the seat metal as well. I hope the dealer does not let me down on the quality of their work. TBD..

Carpet needs to be replaced once it’s soaked and molding
