2021 Ford F-250 Tremor
I noticed a lot of Tremor owners here are coming from Raptors. Just curious why you made that switch?

Me, I had a 2014 then a 2019 Raptor. My #1 reason was the bed would squeak like crazy, at low speeds, going through any small or big bumps. The dealer tried fixing it a few times but kept saying Ford would only authorize to replace the pads between the leaf springs. It would be quiet for a few days but then it came back. I ended up calling Ford customer service, they seemed like they wanted to help but after giving it some thought I decide it to just replace it with an F-250 Tremor. Other reasons were I don't do high speed desert runs, don't do any sweet jumps, but I do need a truck and for the value of the Raptor I figured get a "better" truck. I've had the Tremor for about 3 weeks now and don't miss the Raptor at all. It's funny I see Street Speed 717 on YouTube jumping his Raptor and brand new TRX and read the comments, all the comments seem like 13 year old's telling him how "cool" and "sick" he is just jumping the trucks. Don't get me wrong, the Raptor and TRX are awesome vehicles but I think I'm over that, at least for now haha.

I couldn't turn down a 445 CI big block V8 in a truck built for off-road. Plus, my 2018 Raptor was constant having engine trouble, so it was no brainer for me.

2012 white raptor, missed having a diesel. And I must be getting old because I like buying trucks I don’t have to do anything to. I leveled the raptor and now plan on doing a reverse level on the tremor. Truck problems LOL

I Still have my 2012 SVT Raptor leveled it with 37s and ceramic coated. Borla Exhaust and 27,000 original miles. They are two different animals, The Raptor is light and fast, The Tremor is definitely a big truck. It drives big. I am happy to have both. But the days of towing anything with the Raptor are over.

Funny I just sold my 2020 raptor that I received as a lemon law replacement of my 17 raptor. After twelves months of easy driving I too started getting bed squeaks and hard shifts from third to fourth. Decided I didn't want to go through the hassel of yet another lemon law battle with ford and ordered a Tremor.

Now begins the long wait with no rig. Listed the raptor last Sunday it was sold on Tuesday.

Same. Kept my 2012 raptor. Had a superduty before the raptor and always wanted to go back. Raptor is fun but the superduty is a beast. Both great trucks!

Had a 2017 avalanche gray that I loved but that truck loved the service dept more than me. I miss it and would have probably put up with it but I needed the bench seat so I can seat six. I thought I was gonna miss my raptor more but I can honestly say I'm pleasantly pleased with my new truck more than I expected. I was also starting to get rough shifts in the tranny on the raptor so maybe it was time for it to be someone else's problem. Final day when I left it and picked up my school bus ?.

I went through a buy back on my 2017 super duty. What a pain in the butt it was

I still have my 2018 Raptor and I will probably hang on to it for a while after my Tremor arrives. I ordered the Tremor for towing, as the Raptor is not suitable for anything more than a small trailer.

They are different trucks for different purposes. I do not expect the Tremor to be fast or sporty, but it will pull my new TT with ease.

I had a 2017 Raptor and most recently a 2019 Raptor, both of which I had zero complaints with, other than the price lol. I originally planned on keeping my 2019 for a while, but once I got my travel trailer I started paying closer attention to the payload capacity (1150 lbs) and realized I needed to upgrade. I tossed around the idea of the 2021 Platinum Hybrid F150, but the payload is just as bad. The Superduty Tremor allows me to eventually upgrade my TT and also still have fun hitting the trails.

I've had my 2014 for 7 years now, best truck I have ever owned. So much fun and super reliable. I only got the tremor because I didn't want to keep piling miles and damage on the raptor that is inevitable when daily driving it in this crazy world. No way I was buying a v6 gen 2, so tremor it was. I really like the tremor but it doesn't always satisfy me like the raptor. If the gen 3 has a v8 and really improves I might even sell the tremor for it. One thing that's cool about the tremor is that people love it, everytime I drive the truck it gets lots of attention and compliments. If I could only have one, I would choose the raptor no doubt. That really depends on how it's used though. For me the raptor is good at everything but I can see that many raptor owners have outgrown it for multiple reasons.

Now that I remember I too had problems with hard shifting but I had taken it in for service when my sunroof had messed up for the 2nd time and told them about it. Based from the service advisor’s reaction she wasn’t surprised and knew what I was talking about. They reprogrammed it and seemed to be ok. Sunroof messed up again soon enough. I didn’t want a Tremor with a sunroof but the one my dealer had at the lot had one and got me a good price on it. It had everything else I wanted.

Tremor interior is very similar to Raptor, maybe better, plus massive towing capacity, much more torque and at least as good mpg - from a diesel!

The raptor definitely has a better interior, whether it be between the seats, steering wheel, carbon fiber, gauges.

I do miss the Raptor steering wheel.
