If I were to do so, I think I'd look into Wrapping first. Then again, you can buy used Bumpers cheap. Then Paint, or Powder Coat them when you can. In 17' I bought a new Platinum F350 in Platinum White. My first trip from Tampa to Houston and back, the Front Bumper was Chipped to hell. In the Summer of 19' my wife and I spent 7 months and traveled 22,000 miles on the Road. Carrying our Lance Camper and Towing a Cargo Trailer. When we got home, the bumper was so bad I had it re-painted. A mere $770. That wasn't the lowest estimate, but it wasn't the most expensive either. I've sworn off painted Bumpers since.
