Clearance lights, yay or nay?

Not a fan of them on a Ford but I do like them on a RAM.

Don't really care for them, not needed on a 250 so I didn't get them. Plus every 250/350 has them, might as well get some black method wheels so my truck can look like every other one on the road.

I agree with you on the cab lights but I am guilty of the black Methods haha.

Love the factory clearance lights. More visible to others on the road when cresting hills and people move over more frequently for me at night.

Not a fan of holes in the roof, but I recently looked up there with an inspection camera and all is well and dry still. Will preemptively change them out every 4 years I think from any sun damage.

A good call with that TX heat. It's almost that bad here in FL too. I'll let it ride until I see leakage and then do the reseal.

All of the Super Duty's I've had in the past with cab lights ultimately leaked.

Got them on the 2023 I picked up in Pheonix and drove back to Houston. Once I found out that with the Tremor package and the clearance lights it would still clear my standard height garage, I had to have them. I do think the LED ones are not as bright as the standard bulbs ones I had on an older F250 though...

I never cared for the look. Plus I already have one big hole in my roof.

My trailer is lit up like a Christmas tree, though.

First "23+ I've seen in black and with the grey sticker no less. It looks great, congrats!

I would order again with the lights. They look good on the AMB w/BAP.

Awesome looking Tremor!! 🏆
I agree with the older cab lights! I had factory cab over lights on my '92
F-250 S/C. Much brighter! Or maybe because the larger light housing and bulb made it appear brighter?
The JC Whitney Catalog sold an exact full set of replica Ford OEM cab over lights for those that wanted "the look" and were brave enough to drill all those holes and run the wiring! $27.99 plus shipping! 😉

I have seen a few guys that sprayed their cab over lights with the black tint and they came out very sharp! A slight loss of brightness but well worth the look that matches the blacked out look of everything else!
I'd do it to mine but my hands are no longer steady enough for fine work like that!😞

My ten cents (adjusted for inflation from two cents): it depends what's important to you. Function or form. If you need them, great. If not, great too. I don't care for them because I prefer a clean roofline. Either way, just enjoy that puppy!

While browsing today, I found this product that solves the long term cab light leak issue with the foam degrading.
