Clear Bra question

@Optimus, Who is it that has the black Tremor wrapped in orange? I would have sworn it was a repaint, not a wrap. How did they handle the wrap on the Super Duty? I wonder who wrapped it?

That would be @Najaf4life. Hopefully he can chime in on some details.

It’s me.

Digital EFX Wraps in Louisville, KY wrapped it. I did get vinyl letters put in the hood. But the wrap is in the letters. The black superduty was put on after. I can try to get better pictures if need be.

Beautiful truck!

Mine was done the same way.

Sheesh. The way it looks I’d say it’s pre cut and they lay it on from there. Everyone needs to find a better place of that is how they go about it.

I went by the installer today, and he confirmed that the machine precuts the letters out. He said it's really tough to get the wrap to stay down in the recessed letters, especially when it's cold outside. He is going to install the Tuffscin letters. If it turns out I don't like them, he will re-wrap when it warms up without cutting the letters out.

For what its worth, our hood was completely covered.. From what I understand, its usually difficult to do, meaning your shop needs to be pretty decent (not to say who you opted for isnt).

That would generally mean its more expensive, but yes the entire thing would protected.

I had my hood and front fenders wrapped/ceramic coated here in Louisville by Studio A. I asked about the hood lettering. They said it’s near impossible to get those letters covered and look perfect. So they are cut out and you’d never notice. They did a hell of a job. These guys wrap exotic cars ever day so I trust their judgement.

I am unsure how much it was, as it was lumped in with my ceramic window tint. I paid $1200 for everything and was given a $400 discount because I know the Ford fleet guy, or at least that's what I was told. He said he would refund some money if it turns out I don't like it. I live in Southern Utah, so I may have to drive to Vegas for more installer options.
