Check engine light

Haven’t driven the truck in a week but did install the raptor lights to it. Got in tonight to go for a little spin and I have this check engine light and warning. Any ideas?

I had a 2015 ram that needed some special resistors in order for aftermarket lights to work without throwing the “lamp out” light. Not sure how these lights communicate with the truck but if the computer thinks it’s not getting enough draw to or from the headlights it might be causing the problem. Are you going from halogen to LED?

it was just a simple splice into the running lamp line. I have the factory LEDs. But good news is I just jumped back into the truck and the check engine light is gone...

By the way, your troubleshooting clock is off... it's currently 13Jan2021 2241 EST, not 14Jan2021 0144 PST. Not sure if they are predicting a major failure in the near future or not... we've gotten through 2020 somehow, not certain about 2021 yet!!!
