Sun?? I've heard stories about this mythical fiery orb. All it does is rain here in MO.

That looks amazing... Is that's something you can do yourself or had it done?

I had it done at a local shop here. They use a produce called FeynLab. I did the 5 year “heal lite” product. I believe you can do it yourself, but I didn’t want to mess with it. Total cost was around $1500. Not cheap, unfortunately... And no interior. Just the exterior and the wheels.

Sir I am from Kansas City as well could you tell me the name as I would want to do mine when ever it gets here. 5 year warranty what does that cover Thanks

I'm a big fan of ceramic coat. Its easier to do on new paint Less color correction But the prep work is what makes the job! Mine will be done soon!!! All my other cars have it done including my Rubicon. It helps when you are off the road and there are branches and stone chips..............

Thanks guys (I understand the warranty thing fine print) ill begiving them a call when my star white king ranch gets here

It appears from a sticker on the windshield that I have some "Zaktek" polymer coating on my paint. Does that make the job of ceramic coating harder due to needing to remove that stuff? Totally uneducated on ceramic coating and googling a bit makes it sound like an all-day job of prep work.

Didn’t know much about Ceramic coating or protection film so I did a little research and came across the link below. Some good information about the difference between the two. The site is a detailed so, of course, they’re recommending you do both. $$$$

Sizzle, That is BA!!
Going to try ceramic coating my truck, as soon as it shows up. From my investigation, prep is everything. I will be doing some testing on my wife car first. Stuff is not cheap!!

I have three vehicles with ceramic coat. My daughters boyfriend has a small business doing it. The prep work can take days on older vehicles. With a new vehicle it is much easier. They spent over 40 hours on my 2014 Audi, But my 2017 Wrangler was done in a half day. They figure my Tremor will go fast, but since its huge will use a ton of product.
Make sure they spend enough time on the color correction before they coat it. You will love it. My Wrangler looks like it went thru a car wash after a rainy day. Its easy to care for and is so much more durable than the clear coat on its own. They say the hardness of the clear coat is a 3 on scale of 1-10 Ten being hardest. The ceramic coat is a 9 on the scale. This will help with stone chips, and abrasive mud that you may encounter as well as branches when you are on a tight trail.
