I am looking for options for mounting a CB antenna on my incoming 24 Aluminum bodied Tremor. Any tips or tricks with pictures would be welcomed.

Thanks

It most definitely would be! If you take another look at the post, my co-worker does indeed drive a Super Duty, although the antenna is on his camper. We make do with the photos we've got, unfortunately.

I've driven by a ton of guys out here F150's and Super Duty trucks in TX with WeBoost antennas attached to their truck bed which is usually the place to put it.

I've attached a couple options from google to give you an idea of some of your options.

Couple of ideas from @OffroadAlliance

I have an RSi SmartCap with a platform rack. Will be putting my WeBoost antenna on the rack.

I have a K40 4ft antenna in a stake pocket mount. One of the benefits of placing it here is the cable can run down through the mount pocket and then follow the frame up to the driver's side floor where there is a rubber grommet that you can make a small hole in and then route the cable up into the cab.

UPDATE: The K40 antenna doesn't seem strong enough to last more than 8 months on the truck. I have been thru two and decided to go with a Firestik. I hope this lasts longer.

Thanks for the ideas. I kind of like the stake pocket mount.

What mount is this? Need something for my Cell booster. Love the clean look.
Here is the link to the mount.

I ordered this mount based on your post. My other mount that went between fender and hood I didn’t like because of too close of tolerances and was afraid it would rub. I put a piece of PPF to protect fender and hood but noticed it was starting to rub through PPF. Anyways, just wanted to check on your install. This mount attaches to the bolt in the corner of where the fender, cowling and windshield meet correct? Is the bolt that is there long enough? Also did you trim the cowling to make it fit? Thanks!

What do hundreds of thousands of semi truck drivers use everyday?
they dont. Most Semi trucks dont come with CBs anymore. And go turn on 19 and drive down the highway passing thousands of semi trucks and youll hear the same two morons yacking.... and theyre doing it from their moms basement in a base station.

I can't remember if it is the fender bolt or one of the ones for the hood hinge but yes it is definitely long enough. I didn't trim anything to get it to fit. I'll try to remember after work to snap a few pictures and post them up. I have no complaints with this mount and it has seen plenty of snow and ice in the past couple weeks. Still holding strong with no indication of wear.

Edit: I did have to pull the wiper off though and lift the trim off, you can completely remove it too if that's easier. And then reinstall after the mount was on.

Ok. 😆

Cell phones
So they know the cell phone number to some random truck 2 miles up the road in a traffic jam to call and see what the problem is? 😆
