I’m hoping that someone on here has swapped rear leaf springs and can answer a question for me. I reviewed the install procedure for the Carli rear leaf spring pack. I don’t have access to a 4 post lift, but I think I can lift the truck by the frame until the rear tires are a couple inches off the ground (full down travel +2”), set the frame on jack stands, and then use a floor jack plus a couple of smaller jack stands to hold and manipulate the rear axle. Opinions? Just trying to see if this seems crazy before I commit and buy the bigger torque wrench I’ll need (mine only goes to 150 ft-lbs).

I was gonna do that for add a packs then realized they don’t work on a 350, had a 250 when I bought the kit. Talked to a few people who have done it. Seemed pretty doable. Got my king shocks on the rear yesterday. Tremor shocks I can collapse with one hand kings I couldn’t budge with both hands had to use a floor jack to compress them. This video is pretty good if you haven’t seen it. They do have a lift though

I have been there done that with other projects with large rear axles. Take your time and think about each move and just be careful.
