First post...waiting on my tremor to come in.

Has anyone seen these first hand?

This video seems pretty compelling
.

I'm looking for a 2.5" kit to run 37"s and get an improvement on/off road.

Suggestions?

Seems like a popular choice. I think many of us would like to run this system. And many on the forum do. I personally had the opportunity to drive a Carli hd ram. It was an incredible ride. But at a little more then $10k for parts and install. I suppose it should be.

Top notch system you get what you pay for on lift kits. Why skimp on a cheap kit on a 60-90K truck???????

The better systems like the Carli will keep the ride and drive good and the alignment will be very close to spec. Thats the key. your geometry is maintained.

Call Carli and they will walk you through the questions to pick the best system for your expected usage. I originally wanted the 2.5" Pintop, but they talked me down to the Backcountry System. Unless you are planning to do a lot of offroading, the Pintop is probably not the best choice as it will be harsher on the road due to the King 2.5" shocks. Mine will be used mainly for towing with occasional off-road trips, so the Backcountry with the Fox 2.0" shocks is a better fit. The Fox shocks ride much better on the highway, and the remote reservoirs will give you the extra dampening needed for mild off-roading. I went with the Deaver Add-a-Pack rear leafs because I want to maintain my towing capacity since I bought the High Cap towing package.

My Backcountry 2.5" System, Add-a-Pack leafs, diff cover, high and low steering stabilizers, and torsion sway bar was $5K, plus paying the shop who knows what they're doing. (Priceless!!) I went with 37x12.5 Ridge Grapplers on 17x9 Fuel Zephyr wheels which was another $3K out the door.

Pintop 2.5" (3.5" 2020 / 1.5" 2020 Tremor), with radius arms, full HD Springs, diff cover, high and low steering stabilizers, and torsion sway bar which is $8-9k not including tires, wheels, and paying the shop who knows what they're doing.
Yeah that’s kind of what I saw. That’s just insane to me.

there is no way to not get the high cap tow package with a Tremor

I had a 2016 F250 diesel that i bought last year and was planning to put a Carli suspension on. Take a 37k grandpa work truck and turn it into a formidable / capable off road vehicle for 10k more.

Then i started wanting a little nicer than an XL, and more modern safety features and ended up with a Tremor. since i had already earmarked those funds and went down the Carli rabbit hole, I did it anyways, to make it the best of the best.

The best would actually be the Carli Dominator, but they don’t sell it for this year Ford. But i’ve seen someone do it. They have to weld on buckets to the frame.

There’s a video on Utube that I watched 20 times as I waited got my Tremor from CJC Off Road. It’s Tremor and how FORD should have produced it. I watched many videos on CJC with the Carli Pintop 3.5 or the Carli Pintop 5.5.
They show them tear ass down a country road doing 70 and it handled superb. I ordered a Carli Pintop 3.5 with the works. I ordered a high progressive leaf suspension. They also have a High Capacity leaf pack. I believe you lose NOTHING on towing. You can also get air bags. It was 8,400$ just for the kit. Bbrett the TOTM winner for Nov I think, is having his done by CJC. He had a 3 month wait.
It’s the best suspension on the planet IMHO. So yeah if you want the best for your BEAST and can afford it why not. I ordered it the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and they took 100$ deposit and said there’s a 12-15 week back log.
So what do you have to lose. Put a 100$ refundable deposit down and figure it out later. That’s it brothers. Live life to it’s fullest. Thank GOD for all HE has Blessed you with. Tomorrow can change your life so drastically and you won’t see it coming.
Good luck with your BEASTS and Builds.
???????????????✌️✌️✌️

January 6th I’m having a full carli backcountry kit installed with upper and lower stabilizers, torsion sway bar, and full leaf replacement (my camper is only 4500#) and 37/12.5r17 ridge grapplers with 17” +0 offset method NV’s installed.

will be reporting back how it is.

Suspension and components came to $5760, wheels and tires $2700, and install around $1800.
Suspension is basically a loaded backcountry with everything but radius arms. May do those down the road.

Did you order your suspension from CJC? Also, who are going to use for the install in Texas?

Shit my ordered for the Carli Pin Top 3.5 with the works package was 8,400$. In NY things are crazy expensive, so I'm expecting a heavy price for install. I did order from CJC on 11/20 and its 12-15 weeks back ordered.
My Method Double Standard Machined wheels with 37" Ridge Grapplers with TPS and Ceramic Coating, ballanced, with Black lugs from Mr Wheel Deal on Black Friday Cost me a whopping 3,300$ with tax shipped.
So you seem to have gotten a KILLER DEAL. Good For You My Friend. Merry Christmas. ? ? ? ?

@Iron Man - since you ordered the pin top I think the price difference is in the shocks and radius arms. That $2700 difference is about right for those changes.

@Tx-Tremor6.7 - the install is being performed by Planet Ford in Spring, TX. Their aftermarket team has done a ton of suspension installs (including several Carli’s). Their quote also included alignment. If the install of Carli’s required any type of custom fabrication or shock tuning I’d go to a specialist shop. Installing Carli is literally a direct bolt up replacement of components. I installed my last Carli kit on my old truck in the driveway of the rv park I was staying at with basic hand tools and I’m FAR from mechanically inclined. I put around 55k miles on that kit before selling the truck with zero issues.

I’m not sure if they ordered the kit from CJC or Carli. I know that they speak to CJC fairly regularly.

Did you buy your truck from Planet Ford? I have not had good luck with their sales department as they typically do not offer the best deals and they have too many “mandatory” add-on‘s for me. I have never dealt with their aftermarket team, so I hope they do a good job for you.

I am doing the Carli Backcountry with Add-a-Packs and everything but the radius arms, as well. CJC and several forum members recommended Woodlands Performance Suspension for my install because they have been installing Carli Suspensions for 15 years and they have their own alignment machine. I bought the suspension directly from CJC to save on the shipping and taxes, ($0) and they are shipping it directly to WPS, as they have done for years.

Got the rear shocks on yesterday. The tremor shocks I can collapse like an accordion the kings I couldn’t budge. Mounted and pressing with both hands from my back Had to use a floor jack to compress them. Not sure if the tremor shocks were blown or just junk but only had 20k on them
