Hi all,
Any of you install a topper/canopy cap shell to the back of the truck bed? The truck I bought has the "Trailer Tow High Capacity w/Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System and Pro Trailer Backup Assist Package". My concern is that a topper/canopy cap shell on the back of the bed will somehow interfere with the camera located at the top cab break light and that my trailer assist might now work.
Would an A.R.E. or LEER or other dealer be able to move the camera without screwing with the computer? Else, what other type of topper would you use? I have seen the "Tonneau" and "Gator" and similar flat shells but are they waterproof and any made out of aluminum or steel to prevent tools and stuff from being more easily stolen by just cutting through the cover?
