I really like the idea of the BuiltRight racks and I have the factory drop in bedliner (that I prefer over a spray in). The BuiltRight site has the normal boilerplate-style disclaimer about their inability to guarantee the fit because of variances in drop in liners, which I get. So I was just curios, has anyone here installed them over the factory liner and, if so, were there any tips or tricks for a clean install?

got mine installed over factory liner which was more annoying than having to cut the racks to fit with the factory tonneau cover.

I have a pic up in the built right/tonneau thread

it wasn’t hard but the factory liner is sprayed over all the in bed hardware; screws/bolts etc. just took my time with a box cutter to cut liner around areas to access needed Hardware for the install. Some areas came off easier than others but wasn’t too bad and racks should cover areas where the liner had to be cut into.

I saw your photo’s and so did my wife, which prompted her to say she liked the racks. But I’ve got the drop in/plastic bed liner, not the spray in.
