Blue Ridge Parkway this morning

Drove up to MT Mitchell, too much cloud cover at the viewing deck, just below MT Mitchell was full fall display. MT Mitchell is the highest peak this side of the Mississippi. Our mountains are foot hills compared to out west but we love em... about 30 minutes from my home. Truck is Carbonized Gray 2022 SD.

I was definitely up in the clouds, as mentioned went to the top and you could see the cloud moving in front of you, I am sure many have witnessed it, still pretty cool.

Beautiful!! We visited Asheville a few years back and drove up to Mt. Mitchell but it was so foggy we couldn't see much at the top. There were a few spots with overlooks on the way up where we got a small taste of the view, though. We will have to come back at some point...

Nice pics. We’ll be a little further north on Skyline drive, Big Meadows campground tomorrow. Camping for a week. Every year we try to time out the peak leaves in Shenandoah. Looking at your pics we might be close this year.

Good deal, if you come back, just up the parkway, is Linville Falls and caverns, Linville Viaduct and Grandfather Mountain, these are great places to visit as well.

I really like the cross bin 13 tool box that is an option. the only reason I picked the DB because of the toolbox; otherwise I would have just gotten a tool box. Love the DB combo. Since I don’t 5th wheel, it’s working out great.

I just got back today from visiting the area around Blowing Rock! It was our first time and we enjoyed every minute of it beautiful especially this time of year!
