I keep reading about bed liners causing delays in build dates. Is there a way to remove the bed liner option from the black out package?

I wish, my dealer said the factory one isn't very durable.I keep reading about bed liners causing delays in build dates. Is there a way to remove the bed liner option from the black out package?
Mines a 21, however I went with the ultimate lariat non blackout knowing I would be changing bumpers anyways. Cost me less overall then black out package.I'm thinking im going to switch from black package to the lariat sport appearance then. Anyone else made that move and found you got a build date quicker?
Interesting. I see lots of blackout packages out there, wondering if there truly is a delay for the bed liners.Mine caused no delay and I'm happy with it.

Hah… hey thanks! I texted the sales manager about 30 minutes ago to see what he knows. I appreciate your contribution though.Sweet, go for it since you read all about it on the internet and that’s gospel![]()
About 3 days. The delay really isnt that extensive and you will appreciate the wait later. How long of a delay are people experiencing?
He said go aftermarket, you would think they would want to sell you the factory liner, so yes I do and no they weren't trying to sell one at the dealer eitherAnd you believe the dealer![]()

The Line-X I had was 3 times thicker than the "factory" spray in liner.I’ve had both aftermarket and Ford’s & it is impossible to tell them apart once you remove the stickers.
The bed liner "delay" is just people having to wait a couple extra days for their build to be finished, but it's not causing a delay in scheduling (like adaptive steering is). As for the blackout package, I've haven't heard anything about that, but if you see the pictures of people's new truck deliveries, there are a crap ton with the blackout package.I keep reading about bed liners causing delays in build dates. yeah i hear you. i bought a rubicon wrangler in 2016 for 40k and i thought that was expensive at the time. spending 80+ on this truck is absurd but in fairness all of the manufactures are around the same price. i just figured this will be the last vehicle i buy before i start really saving up for my little ones future expenses, schooling cars, etc. so i might as well get something Ill be happy with.I’m not trying to game the system either, only take advantage of my trade value. If that’s through someone else’s cancellation or a vehicle that was dealer ordered so be it. I would call that being diligent.
My family does well but we also live within our means. I can’t (won’t) finance a vehicle that I can’t pay off within 2-3 years and if my trade value plummets so does my willingness to spend $80,000 on a truck.
It’s pretty absurd to me the amount of people with a willingness to spend $80,000 on a vehicle even if they must finance it for 6+ years. I wish they would teach finance in school as a national standard. That’s a whole other topic though.![]()
