Hello,
I have a 2021 F250 Tremor with just 500 miles on it. If I turn the steering wheel 80% or more to the left/right, I can hear a binding sound. If I straighten the wheel, the sound is not present. I took a look underneath and I don't see anything rubbing. Has anyone experienced this? I know it’s probably impossible to diagnose the issue based on a couple of sentences, but any possibilities what's causing this?
I took the truck to Johnson Ford (Marble Falls TX). The service attendant couldn’t figure out the sound (he messed around with the rear differential switch). He told me that they will probably need to take the rear differential apart. Because the sound only occurs when I cut the wheel, it’s hard for me to imagine it’s related to the rear differential
(but I’m not a mechanic). My appointment is set for next week.
Sucks that a new truck is having issues.
Thanks
