I have been following this group/forum for about a month now. Learned an incredible amount over that time frame from all of you. Everything from getting x plan pricing, when the 2022’s can be ordered.... the list goes on and on. Long story short, this will be my first super duty. I’m coming from a 2015 F-150 5.0. I made this purchase/build solely on the information and first hand experience that I have read from all of you current owners. Haven’t even taken one for a test drive but I’m sure it will be one hell of a truck. Held off for the 2022 since I was looking forward to a new style interior compared to what I have now in my 2015.
I went to my local dealer today and took the plunge! I decided the 7.3 was the right engine choice for me. Looking forward to the extra low end torque when towing small trailers and side by sides. The wife and I don’t tow anything over 12k so I just couldn’t justify the diesel. The complexity also scares me a little even though I have friends that swear by their 6.7’s. Love my current F-150 but it doesn’t like to make power until you get her in the higher rpms. Anyway, here is a copy of the build sheet my sales guy said would get submitted on Monday (hopefully this is accurate??) Now I get to sit back and wait! July... August.... September... who knows!
