So here is a pic of my 2014 F150 approaching 200k miles, everything still looks great except for the sills, especially mine. Looking for the best option for my tremor (reminder Star white f250 with blackout)

My Lariat ultimate + blackout came with factory sill protectors.

Lariat ultimate black out
You'll have them, then. The black appearance package does indeed come with the protectors. May be some other packages as well, but doesn't matter for you. :)

Otherwise (for other folks coming across this thread or if you find the factory ones insufficient once you get them) an option is the Bushwacker ones. They are also sold through Ford Accessories so you could use your Ford Pass points to buy them.

I didn't choose the black package and purchased the V1 sill protectors without any cutouts for max coverage. You can probably just buy the material and do it yourself if you go that route... Like the others stated, you should have the factory ones, though.

cut the end cap off it fucks up the rear door gap.

Do you have a pic w the end cap cut off?

Did you get the ones for the rear also? Any problems with them for rear doors as I have heard some mention? I bought the same but no truck yet.
I have the V1s and have had no issue with the rear. I think the issue is with the Bushwackers and some have ended up cutting off the rear "cap" portion

Here is a link to the discussion. Near the bottom of the thread "Y2KW57" shows the interference and how the rear was modified to fit cleanly in the vehicle:
