Since I changed my engine option to the 6.7 today, I was wondering which aftermarket fuel tank is best? Seems to be three available:

Titan - not 60 gallons
S&B - 60 gallons, plastic, and less $
Transfer flow - 60 gallons, built tough but more $

What are your thoughts? I presume all three re-use the OEM water/fuel separator module?

I’m planning to get the S&B. They have a few more negative reviews (vs Titan) but the S&B only hangs 1” lower than factory and reuses the skid plate. The titan is 1.75” lower and can’t reuse the skid plate. I didn’t know until right now that transfer flow had a midship replacement tank so I’ll have to investigate that one…

The S&B website indicates otherwise now at 1.75" lower than factory:

We’ll go with 1.75” then. It’s basically do you want:

Titan: minimum 1/4” construction, and slightly better reviews

S&B: slightly larger capacity, reuse of the factory skid plates

transfer flow: also larger capacity, aluminumized steel construction

I think I’ll still go with S&B. I like the idea of skid plate reuse.
