Bad batteries?

My Ford pass app constantly sends me a message that remote features disabled to preserve battery and then the other day returning from vacation I had a dead truck. Truck is usually driven everyday and gets about 800miles a week put on it. Anyone have bad batteries from factory? I have not load tested batteries yet, that’s next before a trip to dealer.

i haven't but it very possible that one of the batteries could be bad... mine gave these message after 3 weeks of it sitting and never been ran .... but i also have dual batteries ... so twice the power.... i would go to the dealer and be like how the fuck is my bad already bad... make them replace it ... there is no way you could kill a battery so quickly

Pretty much every new Ford vehicle I've had has had a Motorcraft battery die and get replaced within warranty. Happened on my F250, Fusion, is happening now on my Fiesta...

Once the warranty is up go with non-OEM brand. Most are made by the same manufacturer so go with cost/warranty/CCA.

Often a bad cell, I had batteries replaced under warranty N/C from dealership.
not on my Tremor but other Fords.

my f150 battery lasted 7 years before it took a shit ... so it is hit or miss

I don't know if the message relates to a bad battery or not. I get that Ford Pass message all the time on the Saleen, Tremor and my past 2017 Raptor becuse they sit for days...sometimes weeks....before I drive them. Never had a dead battery....

Got my 2013 in Oct 2012 and it’s still got the original battery in it. Last year was nearly 40 below here and it still started. Hopefully it’ll make it to trade in day.

it could hahaha .... i have a auto zone battery that all trash ... if i don't start the truck every other day it will die
