ATV's 2022 Carbonized Grey F-250 Tremor Build - TX

Where is the charger from?
that phone charger is badass. THATS WHAT THE SECOND GLOVE BOX IS FOR! COVID MASKS. man, ford was really planning ahead with that one... lol
And do you happen to have a pic of that shorty antenna? I think that will be a cool addition.

Where is the charger from?
@MPTxTremor beat me to it but it’s from Shawn Texan products. Link below.

And where does the power cord for the charger plug in?
Here are some more detailed photos but it plugs in to the port next to the OEM wireless charger.

Here’s some photos I just took of the stubby antenna. Like I said I love it and zero reduction in reception quality it’s just a bit fragile apparently.

Well ladies and gentlemen the wait is finally over for me. I picked up my 2022 Ford F-250 Lariat Tremor (still to be named) in Carbonized Grey yesterday (6 Aug 2021) here in Fort Worth, TX after ordering it back in March of 2021. It got here a lot quicker than I thought it would so I am happy about that for sure. I was hoping for November realistically and I would have been happy. So it looks like chances are @soop will be owing @MrMallerd whatever it is the bet they had was. (You're welcome everyone for stirring that pot again) That said, now its time for @Vermonster to see some movement on his! Everyone do you 2022 Tremor dance tonight for him. Don't send videos. Not even @Iron Man wants to see that! Haha seriously I love this forum and I can't wait to keep spending way too much time on it and thus way too much money on my truck so thank you all and every one of y'all is the best.

So now on to the truck. I will post some before pictures below this first thread as well as my window sticker. I am going to use this build thread mostly as a reference guide for me for all I have done instead of this janky iphone note I currently have and I will also be posting links to the stuff I buy for you on edification but also again mostly for my records. These people aren't paying me to do this nor do they even know I am doing this. So read it or don't, won't hurt my feelings.

Up first a few notes on the 2022 that I have noticed. First, my ford pass will not activate the vehicle so that is fun. I am hoping the app will update and it will be good but more importantly I am hoping the dealer doesn't have to go mess with the modem at all. Anyone else have trouble with that? Second, unless I am really stupid and can't find it, the cup holders in my 2022 no longer have ambient lights in them. Additionally the headrests I have only go up and down, I know there was some debate or discussion on that with the 2021s.

So on to the upgrades/additions/accessories/whatever you want to call them. I have a long list piling up and some stuff that was already here waiting on the truck. I will take pictures of most of it but if you are curious on any of it let me know and I will throw it up on here no problem. I have already added the tuffskins glove box inlay letters in matte black, tactilian American flag valve stem covers, a center console organizer, a shorter antenna I got off amazon and a sweet car seat for my son (links below, minus the car seat). Additionally, I have a gas cap that @kmtweb made for me, just need to grab some gorilla glue double sided tape or a 3M strip to throw that on. I did make a mistake and order a screen protector I assumed would fit (it fits a 150) and it does not fit my 250 so let me know if y'all find one. Finally, the last upgrade I will talk about in this first post is on the 16th of August I will be dropping my Tremor off at the XPEL place in Dallas to have a full body XPEL stealth PPF installed as well as a full body ceramic coat and their prime XR plus tint put on all the passenger windows, the back window, the windshield and the sunroof. So I will be sure to put up pictures after that.

I have probably written more than enough on this first post. I am sure no one is still reading, shoot I don't even think I am. If you haven't noticed I am long winded. Also I didn't spell check this because I wasn't about to reread it, so don't judge me please, thanks. But stay tuned for more. Links are below and pictures will be posted shortly after this.

Congrats on the new truck! Just wondering how long after you received notice that it was in the build stage and a VIN was issued until it hit your dealers lot? Enjoy and I’ll keep an eye open for your future post!

So for my timeline. I ordered the truck in March and I was in the first batch of VINs that came out back in the June/July time frame. Then my truck was built in July and made it to my dealer at the beginning of August. But that timeline is probably different if you’re ordering now because like I said I ordered mine before MY22 production even started and just after MY22 ordering opened up.

A nice clean look for sure! Is there something about it that concerns you re: being fragile?

Thanks, only that if I bump it again washing the truck then it will probably crack again rendering it unserviceable.

I see. I prob overlooked you saying that happened……..sorry ‘bout that.

Added the next piece to the puzzle on my tremor this past weekend. I added the Yakima overhaul HD towers, with the HD cross bars, long bed side bars and the tonneau adapter kit. All the links are below. Install was super easy, although it is kind of annoying that you have to combine four Yakima kits (3 if you don’t want the side bars) just to make a complete bed rack but all in all it was easy. Especially if you read the directions before hand haha. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I think the look will keep growing on me, especially as I add pieces to it but it’s nice, great quality and good construction.

It’s been a minute since I have posted on here or done anything to my tremor for that matter but just yesterday I made a couple additions. First, for the easy one, I added a 4Kines rear seat pet cover that comes with the optional hammock. I really like it. Super easy to install, sturdy, nice material and holds great to the seats with the elastic that goes around the bottom. I highly recommend it. Pictures and link below.

The second part of this post is for the “butt plug”, if you will, that I have previously installed and you may have seen others talk about. It’s basically the open square tube on either side of your hutch receiver. I’m OCD so I just wanted to cover it. Well the previous plug I installed, fit but it was loose so I figured it was only a matter of time before it fell out. Well it finally did so I went searching for a new one that fit a little tighter and I found it. It’s still plastic, link below, but it’s much tighter. I even had to gentle help it in with the ole rubber mallet but it will not be falling out unless I’m trying to remove it. Still a great look but now I won’t have to worry about replacing it post off roading.

Finally, more of a question. What’re y’all using to wash your tremors? I went boujee and have the stealth PPF so I only hand wash, especially with some of the black accent stickers I have on my truck. I’m partial to chemical bros but curious your thoughts. I probably should start my own thread or I’m sure there is one but here we are…haha

Hey y'all, so I have been pretty quiet on here as of late, just been busy with life as I transition out of the military and have been searching to find a real job haha. But with that all settled now I am looking at what I want to do next on my tremor so I curious y'all's opinions. I am thinking probably a light bar on the front bumper, some ditch lights (on the pillars for you jeep folks), some additional LED lights under the fog lights and then some back up lights mounted in the rear bumper is probably the top option. That said I could be talked into messing with the exhaust, adding the bed Molle system from built right then mounting some on board air, or even looking into that new bigger tank Transfer Flow is building for the gassers. What do y'all think?

Was it a specific ceramic for the stealth or just any ceramic
To be honest I don’t know if it’s a different ceramic or not but they were both done by XPEL. I assume it’s not a specific one.
