Anyone Else Still Waiting On Backordered Winch?

It's been almost two months since I took delivery of my truck and I am still waiting on the winch. The dealer won't give me any specifics on when I am going to get it. They say they don't know anything.
I would like to know if anyone else is still waiting on a winch. If I am the only one, I am going to start raising hell with the dealership.

I ordered truck on 2/17, delivered on 4/23 with no winch installed, and I took ownership on 4/24 with winch installed, but I do not know when the dealership ordered the winch.

It appears that people in other areas are getting their winches in a timely manner but you and I aren't getting ours. Maybe it's a Southwest Florida issue? I'm only half joking.

Ford Performance shows they will be available on April 30th.

I read on a thread somewhere on this forum that you could order the winch on
the Ford Performance site, so I went and ordered one on March 26th. Now the site reads Sold Out. Not sure when my order will be filled or shipped but they immediately charged me the full amount. I do however feel that they should supply
all those who ordered a winch in their factory builds first, then us who found dealer ordered trucks w/o winch ?

I’m waiting too. I didn’t order it with the truck but from the Ford dealership parts dept. It was supposed to arrive mid April. I think he meant 2021 but I could be wrong.

I ordered my truck in January and it was delivered 3/31 the winch was installed yesterday 4/27. I am not sure how long it was at the dealership before they scheduled to install it, knowing them maybe a day or two.

Just an update on my original post about my backordered winch. I finally got escalated to a "Customer Relations Manager". She did some checking and found out my winch has been at the dealership for over a month. Somebody in the parts department signed for it and then must have put it on a shelf or something. They are installing it on Wednesday.

That winch has been on the shelf so long that it’s a relic by now. ?

Add me to this list. Took delivery 1 month ago today. The Ford accessories representative was in the dealer while I was there last Friday (7 days ago) and he said the next "group" of winches were being released on April 28th but would be 7-10 days before they got to the dealers. I am not holding my breath...

I finally got the call that my winch I ordered 2 months ago is at the dealership!!! My service guy is estimating the cost and schedule to install. I have heard 6-8 hours to install so we will see what number he comes up with. Cheers!??

That isn't going to be cheap. You should install it yourself. You will like the results better.

If I was 20 years younger I would do it in a heartbeat, but I’m not. I’ve done several in my prime so I’ll make the trade of time vs money. I totally agree I would do a quality job just not sure I want to take it on. ?
