Any pics of Tremors and Rock Tamers?

Found one:

Thanks for posting…considering rock tamers.

I’ve been looking at them as well as some offerings from Rockstar. Unfortunately their stuff doesn’t seem to fit. I still may take a crack at trying to modify their full width tow flap; I like how easy it is to remove.

Thanks Bill, I am still looking as well. ??

Their version of the hitch mounted flaps are really nice looking as well ano seem well built and mount nicely, they just don’t support 3” receiver tubes and I‘m not interested in swapping hitches just to support a specific set of flaps.

I know this is an old thread, but figured I'd revive it rather than starting a new one.

I'm looking at a set of Rock Tamers for my '22 Tremor to protect my boat. Will only be used while towing. But I have two questions before I pull the plug:

1. Is there enough clearance between the flaps and the angled exhaust pipe (7.3L)? One common issue I have read about with them is melting on long trips from exhaust heat, but those issues were not specific to Fords, F250's, or Tremors, so curious if there's enough clearance on my specific truck to avoid a concern.

2. How easily do they break down for storage? I want to ensure I can simply pull them apart and toss in the box while not in use.

3. Any better alternatives anyone's found?

I had these “Rock Stoppers” custom made by http://livelymachine.com/
The fit and finish is excellent and they look much better than anything else out on the market IMO. They really do the job protecting our fiberglass Oliver LE2 TT. All aluminum powder coated tubing and SS hardware. These slide into the existing hitch and allow for easy removal.

I like the simplicity of those much better! Mind hooking me up with your contact over there and sharing a ballpark cost? Hoping maybe if I just direct them to your build they can run another identical set...

Based on the pic, it looks like they just slide into the ends of the receiver, correct?

Call and ask for Jeff he is the owner, he can provide cost plus shipping. I had mine made in 20. I am sure they have probably gone up in price like everything else. Yes, they slide right into the receiver for a clean fit/finish.

This is exactly what I've been looking for

FYI - I contacted Jeff at livelymachine per Patriot's recommendation this morning. He said he can make another set (same as above) for $625.00 + shipping. Lead time is 3-4 weeks. A bit more than I was expecting, but not what I'd consider ridiculous, so I'll probably bite on a set. I really like the minimalistic design vs. the rock tamers and other similar products.

One follow-up question @Patriot... moving the flaps forward to the hitch frame vs. off the ball/receiver like the rock tamers, will obviously move them quit a bit closer to the exhaust tip. I'm assuming since you haven't mentioned it, that you haven't had any issues with heat/melting of the flaps?

That was one theme/concern that I read from several reviews online for the other variations that can lead to issues with some exhaust locations.
