My Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Fighter front bumper arrived late last night. It came on an absolutely huge crate! They definitely over packed it to make sure nothing happened during shipping. Very impressive.

Hoping to get it installed this weekend, time pending.

Take your time on the install, no rush. Should be a nice weekend project to keep you out of trouble.

Agreed. It recommends 2 people for the install, not sure if my 12 year old boy will be strong enough to assist, or if I need to find another helper.

I did my Jeep Rubicon bumper by myself, it was all steel but much shorter / lighter.
I don't think you can do it by yourself. If you have a transmission jack or motorcycle jack you could. Something to hold it up and be able to maneuver around to get get it lined up. The goal is to get it installed without scratching it up. The bolt holes may take a bit of finesse. My Rubicon bumper was powder coated and there was a heavy paint residue inside the holes and made the bolt entry tough. There is a certain sense of accomplishment when you complete your own project.

Your packaging looks exactly like mine did and mine was in perfect condition! They have really learned their lessons on the packaging because when I bought my Gen 1 bumper 10+ years ago, I had damage to my skid plate from shipping. It was a hassle to get it replaced, but they took care of me in the end.

I had mine installed, along with my BD lights and Carli Suspension, so I cannot tell you how hard it will be. My wife and I were able to hoist it into the back of my truck, so I know it was not as heavy as it looks.

When I got my ADD Rock Sliders, they were packed the same awesome way! Have fun with the install, your son will be a great extra set of hands and a learning/bonding time. I have been having my daughters help me in the garage for the last 10 years, they are 14 and 16 now. Even if it was just handing me lug nuts while rotating tires at first, to installing lights, bumpers, lifts, tonneau covers, they were out there learning. My oldest drives now and insists on doing everything herself, but she will occasionally let me help her ?

Got any pics after the install? That's a really sharp looking bumper.

Very nice, thanks! Showing my wife, her OCD kicked in: "Tell him he's got to put away his ladder."
HAHA! I like your wife's attention to detail! I hated that I left the ladder out, but I was using it to take pictures of the black hood and roof vinyl wrap, and got caught up in the moment.

Tell her I will not post another picture with my ugly ladder in the background... ;)

Here is the picture I took using the ladder:

And here is one in the shop, showing the fog lights I had mounted behind the side and bottom grilles. (Tell her, that is not my stool...) :ROFLMAO:

Great bumper. @TonyJ tell your wife I promise to tidy up my garage first thing tomorrow.
What can I say, she owns a cleaning business! BTW - her personal license plate on her F-150 happens to be: "TIDYUP" - & her reply to this is: "Ok, but I want to see before & after pictures."
