So my XLT Tremor has the remote start feature from the app only. I first had the app when I got my Raptor but I never used it because my Raptor was an 802a and it had everything. When I bought my truck, I opted for no remote start because I had it on the app. I figured I’d just use the app. Well after two months of ownership, I realized how how horrible the app is. I live in SoCal, so it’s not a reception issue. It takes forever and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. So I found this remote start on amazon. Was on sale for $90 so I figured I’d give it a try. Install is super simple, and it works very well. All and all, im happy with it.... Heres the link for the one I bought.
