Okay guys,

Been looking and listening to different exhaust setups and I just cannot decide on what is the best direction to go? I don't want any drone, I don't want it crazy loud or have any crack to it, as I use my truck for longer road trips pulling a trailer. Just looking for a deeper tone I guess?

I know the MBRP has come up quite a bit and that is pretty interesting but with that in mind here are some others I have come across,

Custom Flowmaster 40 setup,

Custom Flowmaster 50 setup, (good comparison to stock too)

Custom Flowmaster duals

Custom Borla setup,

Can’t go wrong with flowmaster that true dual and TFL 50 series sounded good
Yeah I was actually thinking the same thing when I seen that. I liked the true comparison from the inside and outside. I looked up that Flowmaster muffler and the 50 series is actually on their quieter end.

I just wish someone around here would have done one of these mods, so I could actually here it for myself. These sound bites from youtube are obviously helpful but not the greatest.

click and scroll down and it will show all the Flowmaster mufflers on a comparison chart,

Yea that motor is so new you could look up some of the 6.2 Ford videos it would be close in sound maybe you could talk your muffler shop into clamping the muffler and not welding it so you could change it out if you don’t like it then weld it up
