Well I never though I would get to test out the snow and ice capabilities on Big Easy unless I was in Colorado. The 2021 Louisiana snow storm said different. Last Sunday it started and did not quit for three days and then sleeted another inch a couple days later for good measure. Temps also remained below freezing and down to 3 degrees for the week. Us Southern people normally stay in and run around with our hair on fire thinking the world is coming to an end at just the threat of snow. But my wife is a Dr. and needed to go to the office most of the days and also needed her nurses so here comes Big Easy to the rescue Man I have say....8200 pounds and 4WD make a hell of a difference. This truck refused to let go of any surface unless I made it. The Duratracs also did their part. I also made 100 mile trip[ in the snow and Ice down to our lake house to check on things and back. All on back roads because the interstate was shutdown. Flawless and still got 15.6 MPG in 4WD. I had this truck just over three weeks and have 3200 miles of driving and towing fun already.

Love my Tremor 6.7

My experience has been the same, two trips to Colorado a trip to Park City and visiting our house in the mountains to check on everything has given me a bunch of seat time in 4x4.

This truck has been way more comfortable and a tremendous upgrade to the Raptor. I think like you said between the weight and the Duratracs I’d never hesitate to hit the road under any conditions. As someone who’s ran BFG A/T’s on all my trucks for years these Duratracs are really growing on me.

When I was in Park City we got dumped on 22” in two days. To get to Snowbird ski resort you have to go thru Cottonwood Canyon, snow rated tires or chains are mandatory. The Duratracs have the snow rating and their performance made for one of the best snow driving experiences I’ve ever had.

Glad you were able to get everyone to work, I bet you had a huge smile the whole time impressing your wife and all her coworkers while driving these amazing trucks.
