- 2022 F350 King Ranch Ultimate Tremor 6.7 Diesel Star White / Stone Gray
I’ve tracked my fuel mpg using the fuelly app since picking up 22’ F350 6.7 Tremor in September.
5010 miles tracked
16.2 mpg average
17.5 best mpg fill up
This includes a few hundred miles towing my 27’ boat, a couple hundred towing my little utility trailer, and the rest 50/50 highway/city driving.
My dash has been consistently 1.2-1.7 mpg “happy” such as tonight when I filled up showing 18.3 mpg on dash but calculated 16.6. This was on a 452 mile trip reading.
I’m totally happy with this mpg on a slightly taller truck (compared to non-tremor) with stock 35 duratracs.
Previous vehicles for comparison:
2021 Sierra 2500 Duramax/10 speed
Miles tracked 9287
13.0 average mpg
2020 F250 6.7 Powerstroke/10 speed
Miles tracked 5707
14.6 average mpg
2019 Titan XD 5.0 Cummins/6 speed
Miles tracked 9397
14.9 average mpg
One thing to note is that the 2021 Duramax and the 2020 F250 had more trips towing the boat than my current truck has so far, that is one reason for the lower mpg. However, the Duramax was the worst of the group by a noticeable difference. There was an issue with the transmission or torque converter (my best guess) for the last couple hundred miles just to be fair. I honestly don’t know if it affected the mileage or not, it seemed to be thirsty and sluggish from day 1.
