35x12.50's on stock

I would like to do so as well. Many forum members have said this is not possible, while a few others say it is. If anyone has experience or input, it would be much appreciated!

fair point, understood. next question, whats best beadlock wheel to replace with? Dont love the methods. Would prefer to stick with stock wheels, but also want a wider tire. the 12.5s on my raptor are so good in so many ways.

If you look at 305/70 18....that size is many times listed as working with 8.5 inch rims...and it is virtually 35 x 12.5.

Check out tiresize.com.....great tire- wheel buying resource free.

Its not recommended. Meaning you can do it if you can put tires and balance them yourself. You will not find a reputable dealer to do it, because they will be held libel. They don't want a $10 million suit if an accident happens.

Thanks David!
While on covid lockdown I spent 6 weeks listening to guys swap their stock wheels and tires out, and researching my own new treads.....I learned alot!.......also learned how expensive belonging to this forum can be......LOL. Had my new wheels and tires a month now (including my spare).

Neither Discount Tire or Tire Rack will mount a 12.5 inch wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim.

Not just for these reasons but for convenience I own my own mounter and balancer. 20200605_214637.jpg

Ridge grapper 35x12.50 stock wheels. Zero issues, even at low psi on sand. I run at 55 on highway.

Most of these big tire companies just want to sell you stuff they have there not into Going outside of what the book tells them to do or they’re scared of being sued so you have to go to the mom and pop shops to get it done

That’s not an 8 inch wide wheel though. No doubt 35x12.5 look great on the tremor if one swaps out the wheels too.
correct you are not supposed to mount these on that narrow of a wheel.
I was thinking stock suspension which I have. Aftermarket wheels.

Guess I read wrong. but I would not recommend a 12.50 tire on the factory wheel. It's probably been done.

Don't have a Tremor but I do have an '18 F350 with the same 18" wheels that come standard on the Tremor. Currently on my second set of 35x12.5 tires on the stock wheels from a major off road retailer that had no issue mounting and balancing. I've bought both sets from the same retailer and I've had no issues, tow 12-14K regularly.

Now I do have a leveling kit that helps clearance on the front end.

Reviving an old thread…..

i have factory rims and tires on my 2022 F350 XLT 4X4 single cab. I’d really like to throw some 35 or even 34,12.50,18’s on it but both tires are showing at the minimum, a 8.5 in width rim. Are the factory chrome rims only 8 inch?
thanks
