Toke the time finally to install the BuiltRight console plate! Turned out good I think!

They should have still given it to you. I got the console safe with mine too and it was still inside the console. It doesn't fit on top, it is just in there.

So I installed a locker down safe recently found this on a Taco forum and it works perfectly mounted to console lid. I think I'm going to put some self tapping screws instead of velcro though because of the heat I think the velcro glue loosens up.

I liked the setup that I had with the full bench in my 19 F150 better. The safe was under the middle seat bottom and still had the seat back that folded forward and had storage in there. This one makes it so basically the entire center console is your safe and you can't store anything on top of it without having to move it to access the safe area. If I could have, I would have preferred the one that is only half of the console.

Glad to help. I had ordered my truck with the bench, the entire build process showed the bench, but it showed with the console. Wasn't a deal breaker for me as only 3 of 6 kids still at home now, but I had the dealer throw in the Ford console safe because I didn't want to buy another (I pulled the one from my 150).

For the full center console, I would have liked something like this better:
