2025 Superduty Changes

Isn’t the HO standard on tremors
Could be, but I would not be ordering a Tremor so I didn't check.

The only Tremor thing I checked was you can get it on a Platinum Plus which is kinda neat for the Boujee Tremor buyer(would be me if I weren't poor and wanted a Tremor)

Being we’re on the tremor forum I assumed we were talking about tremors across the board lol, but yeah I was pretty positive the HO was standard on the tremors

Reasonable assumption lmao, I think for my use/plans, I'd be better off skipping that option, I'm just here because folk seem to have great ideas for modding their trucks lol

I don't mind a few extra bells & whistles, and I like leather, but I DO mind having a moon roof forced on me in a truck. I generally don't care for chrome, but in glacier gray, that black badge across the back looks like crap.

Given what they did to the MY25, I pretty much wouldn't be looking at a Ford after going through the build and price.

I'd gladly pay an extra grand or so just to have the Platinum plus interior. I however don't want the mandatory moonroof and chrome ascents that come with it, nor an overpriced Ford "Fluffer" to talk and text dirty to me about welcoming me and making me feel good about my Boujee Tremor build.

Isn't the only package that forces the sunroof the platinum plus? That said, if you don't want to deal with all the aesthetic shortcomings on the platinum, it is pretty unappealing to be forced to modify it or step up to platinum plus. I really like the black platinum interior for 25.

You mean you DON'T want to pay extra to text an "expert" on Fords who probably can do absolutely nothing to help you if you're in need other than refer you to the manual lmao. That may be the silliest offering I've seen, I'd probably see how fast I could get blocked from complaining about stuff.

Love the black

I'm in need of getting out of a 23 lariat and into a new one but nothing about these 25s and the pricing does anything for me. Looks like price would be 5k or more over an almost equal truck that I ordered 2 years ago and will actually have less options on it. I think I will just see if I can find a 24 or maybe look at slightly used trucks. Ford badly needs some new leadership.

🤔 Something wrong with the current truck?

If I build a 25 lariat ultimate like my 24 is, it’s up just about 2 grand. They are pricing themselves out real fast. Can’t believe they are coming standard with the 6.8L engine. Tremor defaults to the 7.3 so cost of the tremor package is up.

My 24' iconic silver build for a base lariat Tremor with the sport package is up almost $3k for a 25' since I'm forced into the BAP and still lose the silver, back sliding window, rear lighting and power steering wheel. No thanks.

The delete of the power wheel is unbelievable. That’s part of the easy entry/exit. Now all that happens is your seat slides back.

I agree, that's a really nice feature in my opinion.

Yes my 23 has extensive electrical issues. Dealer has worked on it 4 times this year and been unable to fix it. Ford denied lemon as TX law is 24k and I’m at about 31k miles. Although electrical problems started before 24k and it’s been in the shop every other month this year. So Ford denied lemon as of now but my rep acknowledged it has issues and is seeing what else they can do or offer me. So I’m still waiting for results and figure it will be a battle. But it’s frustrating to have a $90k truck not work like it should.

Bingo. I went ahead and built my identical 23 truck, all the same options, one for one, using the 25 configurator. The truck is 7K more on MSRP, well above 100k. It’s crazy that a 23 build now seems like a bargain.

It seems to be very dependent on which options you end up choosing (for example you're build above has BAP since SAP is no longer available which accounts for $2000 of the difference right there).

I played around a little bit this morning and building something exactly identical to the 2023 that I had ordered and then decided to pass on (basic F250 Lariat 7.3 Tremor, oxford white, baja interior, dual battery/410A alternators, tailgate step, and upfitter switches) came back with an MSRP of $72,975 vs. my 2023 @ $70,875

I did something similar back when the 2024 pricing was released and it was in the same ballpark of $2000 increase... so basically the same price (but with all the features they deleted)
