just a few months from 2025 MY announcements usually. Anyone heard of any changes for the 2025 Superduty? Specifically F450.. TIA

Granger said earlier this week that they have not yet received any 2025 model info. Ford Authority can be a good source of info, but to my knowledge, they have not yet posted any 2025 Super Duty specific info.

If 2025 order banks open in July 2024, then we should expect some info anytime now; June at the latest.

Someone here said the only change they are expecting is a higher price. I suspect there will be minor refresh tweaks, but full redesign may be unlikely. I’m definitely on the outside looking in, but there are likely some Ford folks around these forums who will be disclosing/leaking more info anytime now.

F450's will only be offered in XL trim moving forward from 2025 MY.

Thanks for the replies. Was hoping to see a higher amp pro power in the bed.. Probably wishful thinking.

Probably out of luck there with no hybrid/Power oost like the F150.

That's a shocker too, so many buyers who order F450s want them in Lariat, KR, Platinum, and Limited.

I'm unable to confirm this but it's possible Ford is stupid enough to do it, so can't tell if you're joking or serious.

I thought lariat was the highest trim already for the 450?

Don't know exactly what years they made the changes, but there used to be a distinction between the F450 and the F450 cab chassis. The former you could get in all trim levels say back in the 2010 era, and i believe this continued at least through 2020. Where the cab chassis has been limited to a lariat as since 99 I believe. Someone feel free to chime in with corrections.

For the current model year, standard cabs are available only in XL or XLT trims, there are no SuperCabs, and Crew Cab option levels cover the entire spectrum all the way from XL all the way to Limited. I didn't check chassis cabs but suspect they may be XL or XLT only.

The Limited level may or may not be going away across the entire SD line for '25, leaving Platinum (with a few optional, umm, options) as the top trim.

Since adding options adds a vast amount of profit to a vehicle relative to the cost to the manufacturer, chances are those option packages will continue to be offered, since there are a goodly amount of small businesses whose principals will buy or lease a tax deductible "boss truck" in the name of their company.

It seems unlikely, but Ford has been making some poor decisions lately with regard to a lot of things and so the possibility can't be ruled out. 🤷‍♂️

I could see this as being a move by Ford and it would seemingly be a smart one on their part. Any Platinum SD with the Tremor package and HO 6.7 exceeds the price or is essentially the same as the respective Limited. The only discernible difference I have seen is purely the leather if the Platinum has the options checked. So in these cases, the Platinum Tremor has a better feature set the way I see it.

Ford needs to release the black appearance package on the Platinum trim level like they did on the F150 line up. Just my 2 cents and wishful thinking

Seeing how it is almost July, has anyone heard when we might see concrete 2025 info?

Nope. Very little to be expected this year. No test mule photos = not much changed.

Order banks for 25 super duty trucks open in September/october, per my local ford dealer. Also, nothing has been released so far for the 25 trucks. Im guessing there won’t be many changes, probably some new colors and some old ones not brought back.

Looks like the exterior gets minor tweaks but the interior goes to a giant touch screen for all controls, (no knobs). Not sure what I think of that. My wife drives a Volvo and changing the temperature in the car requires you to look away from the road for quite some time. I'm sure if I drove it daily I'd be able to operate it without looking. Not sure I want to have to stare at a TV screen for 15 seconds to adjust the temperature while towing 15,000 pounds at 65 MPH.
