2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Priority codes in the 3 level and maybe any below 10 require regional rep approval. And are usually reserved for a replacement for a truck that got wrecked in shipping or was a carry over because it didn’t get built the previous year.
You are correct for orders prior to 24MY. Starting for 24MY, the dealership can go down to 3. I'm a priority 3 from Granger. Was given that priority directly from them the day my order was placed in the system. Long McArthur talked about this not to long ago. I don't remember exactly when.

I had sent a random email to see if any previews were done on my order. She mentioned there could be good things coming as one of the platinum orders they have was picked up for production. Could have been someone else’s as well but then I saw your note. I figured 1+1 = 5 and here we are!

Very nice. I'd imagine that was mine than. Lol they must not have switched my 24 order to a 99 when my 23 order got scheduled. So I'm taking advantage of it and taking the 24 order.

A Ford regional manager needs to approve it.
I’m also a 3 but it is likely due to a ‘23 rollover to the ‘24. If the regional manager approved it or was required to approve it, great. I credit the dealership for trying to help those with an outstanding prior MY truck order get a truck in the new MY. I’d call it customer service!

They placed my 24 order with the thought the 23 was never going to get scheduled and they place the 24 at priority 3 since it was a rollover. I believe it was the same day I got my confirmation email for the 24, my 23 was scheduled. They said once the 23 was scheduled, the 24 would cancelled. It appears they forgot to do that and now it's scheduled. So I'm taking advantage of the mistake and taking the 24 instead. That will have everything I ordered plus it will have the massaging seats.
 
So they released build dates for tremors how soon before they run them again. I wasnt fortunate enough to get mine scheduled yesterday 😭

They do scheduling every Thursday. If you're on YouTube, check out Long McArthur. He's a dealership that posts weekly updates on what's all scheduling and constraints. That's where a lot of us get our updates from.

Fain also said some "real progress" has been made with Ford and the automaker "is showing they're serious about reaching a deal.""

From the Detroit Free Press, sounds like no impact today to Kentucky plants, but nothing has been finalized.
 
My scheduling email yesterday showed week of 10/23. After checking the online tracker today, it is now showing week of 10/16. Still unable to view the window sticker, but does have a VIN assigned.

I was going to post this as well. I'd imagine they won't do additional striking against Ford just yet since they made some big progress on things. The raise is the big thing holding stuff up. I'd imagine a deal will be made within this next week with Ford for sure.

I think the agreement in Canada is also what is helping Ford talks here.

I just called my dealer and am a bit confused as my order number from ford is different then what he is telling me. I said that's not what I have, said he would double check but haven't heard back. At first he said he had my VIN then was looking at the wrong order.

Well we traded places. My email said 10/9, then I got an update email of 10/16, just checked the website and it now says 10/23. Not sure what’s causing the reshuffling between weeks. Maybe wheel choices.

How and where do you check your order status?? I logged in to Fords website and it says I have to have a VIN to check the status. Is that correct??

Until the vin is issued, the only way to get any updates is by talking to your dealer or calling / chatting with Ford customer service (Ford Marketing). The phone / chat with Ford will only tell you that your order has been received. Your dealer can give you a better sense of where you are in terms of place in line for scheduling against the allocation the dealer has (assuming there are no constraints in your build each week they do the scheduling).
