2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I like seeing images of the build progress. I ordered a King Ranch Tremor in mid December 2023. So far it only shows Order-Confirmed. I know a lot depends on the trim level and options. Does anyone who ordered a King Ranch Tremor have data on how long between Order-Confirmed and Scheduling? thank you.

This is what I had on order in 2023. It was never built. Had to place a new order for a 2024 in December 23. Not saying yours won't get built, but there are not a lot of them. I ended up going with a Lariat and it finally was built over the weekend. In December 2023 I was told that the dealership wasn't even allowed to place an order for a King Ranch Tremor.

Are all trucks pre-wired for it or would you have to order it as an option to get the pre-wiring?

- this install is for 2022+ truck -which indicates at least to me that 2023 and 2024 with trailering package and/or fifth wheel prep - can't speak from hands on experience yet seems to be pretty well integrated from what information I've found

I ordered KR, non tremor, July 2023, got a build date in late feb, scheduled for 4/15/24

Did your dealership have the allocation for a Platinum Tremor? That is probably the biggest hold up based on reading these forums.

Honestly I have no idea. I didn’t realize that allocations were specific to trim level. If they had no allocation do you know how that would affect the order? I went with the best price… got 1% under invoice discount. I can wait, but obviously I want it built.

I'm now on 10 days since built and still not shipped. Ford chat told me no holds for it not to ship, and gave me an estimated delivery date. So it seems kind of odd that it hasnt left yet. Hoping sooner than later as I have a great interest rate locked in and would love to take advantage of it.

I didnt even bother going to navy federal until the day before I went to pick my truck. No reason to.

Mine just shipped after 21 days from being built. I hope your wait is not as long.

so dumb question maybe, but I have the email from when my order was confirmed, about 5 min after the order was placed at the dealer, however where are you guys getting the blue line trackers with the green dots? do I need a VIN first? or?

You'll get a VIN assigned when the vehicle is scheduled for a production week. There's really nothing to track and no action until this happens. It can be very quick or take months for a VIN to be assigned.

thanks I wasn't sure. its been 50 days since I ordered, I know the email confirmation said should hear something within 45 days would have figured I woulda gotten something, even if it was hey we are behind schedule

What is the trailer camera install? I've been curious about that. Does it integrate to your in-dash screen?

My last trailer, I bought a Furrion camera that I installed to the prewiring on the rear of my trailer and used a lighter-plug/small screen in the cab to view the rear of the trailer.

I think the camera install that you can get is the same as on the ford accessories website. If you use the Ford App then you registered with Ford and have an account. You get 1 point for every $1 (US) on each vehicle purchase. So if you're buying a diesel Tremor then you probably have enough to get the
"customer-placed trailer camera" for free (assuming it's the same as below). This is from the ford accessories website and you can see their prices vs the Ford cost when ordering a vehicle. There is a kit that combines the two (bottom picture). I used my points that I didn't know I had and got a huge discount when I bought the combined TPMS/camera install kit (for my 2022 F250). There's a lot in the kit and I still haven't installed it on my trailer.

Anyhow, this is my best guess on what those selections are on the Ford.com options for these trucks.

thanks for the information - looking at the window sticker and the order I think what is coming with the truck is the camera w/backup assist - no TPMS only time will tell delivery of truck is 4-16 April
