I saw this today and it reminded me of an '82 Escort my family had back in the day... Not exactly the same color, but definitely reminiscent. If I was in Sherwin Williams I think it would show up on the same color strip:

Or… it’s the same color and the variation in luminance is attributable to the difference of a digital sensor from 2022 vs 35mm or 110 Porta film in 1982 + removal of whatever paint compounds were known to the state of California to cause whatever… 🤓

I remember a similar color on late 80’s ford trucks.

Why does it appear that there’s an AMP style bedside step, just below the factory integrated bedside step?

Looks like it. They call that the '23 two-step. It's a new dance to one-up GM. After a lift we may be able to add another step, in the new step-ladder edition coming in 2024.

Someone high up at at Ford loves that color, they are pushing it hard in all their demo vehicles and charging a hefty premium for the option. I don’t really understand their logic, it’s a feminine/hipster color that you would find on a Subaru not a 1 ton truck.

@Vecman that looks like a vehicle either from the last prototype build or early pre-production build that is being used for continued testing. Maybe they have found that the side steps are too high and took matters in their own hands. I notice that there is a tool box on that truck... Hmmm...

Hey - It's not super bad to all of those who have one on order....

Azure looks good on the Bronco Raptor! The color appears darker in these photos though.

I still wish Ford would have offered avalanche gray or code orange on the Super Duty.
