A glitch that the PRB’s were even offered?
Haven’t heard that one before. But apparently, strange things like this have been reported with the ’21 and ‘22 model year builds.
Did the dealer give you a copy of the build order sheet when you ordered it? He certainly should have! If so, it should show exactly how it was ordered and accepted Into the system. If an option wasn’t compatible with the order, the system wouldn’t let it occur. It forces the person entering the option codes to either not enter the code or add/delete another code so it accepts what you want.
The dealer would have been notified by the factory if there were any shortages or delays regarding your order and he should have notified you immediately.
Both of those running boards are interchangeable without affecting anything else, so I don’t get why the power unit wouldn’t be able to be installed instead of the Tremor boards.
I upgraded my Tremor boards to the Power ones and it was built that way. No “glitch” occurred. I have the Lariat and not the Platinum, but that shouldn’t matter in the case of running boards.
And in either case, I don’t see why your dealer can’t make it right by simply ordering the PRB’s thru the Parts Dept and swap them out when he receives them. The Parts Dept can easily sell the Tremor Running Boards! Lots of non-Tremor Super Duty’s out there would love a set of the Tremor/Raptor boards!
That’s called good customer service...
